Lauren shared a picture of LA rap artist and activist Nipsey Hussle smiling on her social media on his third death anniversary. She captioned the picture with an emotional message with a blue heart that read, "Loving You Here, There, Now Forever and After. Long Live The King Ermias Asghedom, Hussle Man. "

Lauren London had also shared a couple of pictures of the two of them on her story to mark his death anniversary, and one of the pictures featured two hands apart with text that read, "I may not see you, but I feel you in the moon and the stars." The text went on to say that the seasons were constantly changing, reminding me that even if I appeared to be alone, you had never left.

The Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was killed in a shooting outside his clothing store in Los Angeles in 2019. It was reported that the rapper was shot multiple times in the parking lot at Marathon Clothing and was declared dead at a hospital. The suspected killer, Eric Holder, someone who had grown up in the same area as Nipsey and was affiliated with the same gang as the late rapper, fired almost 10 rounds of bullets after the two of them had a heated conversation. Eric Holder is currently awaiting trial.

Herman Douglas, Nipsey Hussle’s longtime friend, and former business partner mentioned in an interview that people like Tupac, Biggie, and various other celebrities who passed away did not leave anything that people could physically touch and see, but with Nipsey it was different. Herman added that Nipsey left a legacy as he was a people’s champion, giving people hope for a better future because he understood the importance of starting from nothing.

Herman says what he wants to do on his friend’s death anniversary is have all gangbangers have a ceasefire. He added that he let everyone have a safe day where no more people died on that day. Through his music, Nipsey denounced gang violence, tried to uplift the community, and hired underprivileged groups, people, and artists to bring positive change to the community. He was highly appreciated for his efforts.

Herman Douglas said that he could see the thinker in Nipsey who was constantly trying to find ways to do something for the people. Douglas said that he admired Nipsey Hussle’s leadership and the ability to be true to himself and not pay much attention to what people would say about him.

While appearing on Jay Shetty’s podcast show "On Purpose", Lauren London spoke about how she has been coping with Nipsey Hussle not being here anymore. She said that individuals should always have a plan B in their lives in case their original plan or idea does not work and they’re put to the ultimate test of surrender. Lauren added that, at the end of the day, we do not have as much control as we think.

In the past three years, Lauren London has shared tributes and posts about the late rapper on several occasions. On his second death anniversary, she mentioned that the process of healing after the love of your life is taken away from you is hard and it almost feels like yesterday and eternity all at the same time for her.

Lauren London and Nipsey Hussle dated for five years and had a son, Kross Ermias, together. Lauren also shares a son, Kameron Samuel Ari, with ex-fiance Lil Wayne. Nipsey Hussle also has a daughter, Emani Asghedom, with ex Tanisha Foster who goes by the the name Chyna Hussle, who has now requested full custody of her daughter and the termination of her foster guardianship, which is overseen by the rapper's immediate family, which includes his brother, Sam, and sister Samantha.

The documents state that the mother of a 13-year-old wants to have her custody to recognize her financial limitations, her desire to maintain a standard of living and familial contact with her father’s family, and upon the verbal assurance that everyone would act in the best interest of Emani.

Tanisha Foster stated that she has actively been a part of Emani’s life and she spends her nights with her and she can continued to do what a parent would do. Tanisha added that she is very unhappy because her daughter's guardians do not pick her calls and she has to go through a third party of Emani to communicate with them which had made her life hard.

The mother explained that she believes that there is no need for guardianship for her daughter and she can take care of her adding that there are no circumstances in her life that could prove that she is not fit to regain the custody of her daughter. Tanisha also added that her 13-year-old daughter questions her on when are they going to live together and she yearns to live with her mother as much as she wants to live with her daughter.

The parties were suppose to appear in court on March 25th but there is no information provided or known about what actions has been taken or will be taken for the custody of Emani.
