How does Lady Gaga feel about her 2022 Academy Award snub?

The 94th Academy Awards are all set to be held on March 27th, 2022, in Hollywood, California, and this year’s tagline is "Movie Lovers Unite." Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Regina Hall are going to serve as the hosts of the evening, and this is the first time in the history of the Academy Awards that all females are going to host, along with two people of color, who will co-host the show in the same year.

One of the things that were pointed out when the nominations were announced was the fact that Lady Gaga did not receive a nomination for her exceptional and brilliant work as Patrizia Reggiani in Ridley Scott’s "House of Gucci", even though she was highly appreciated for the role.

A lot of people did express their disappointment that she did not receive the nomination, but Lady Gaga has no hard feelings and will not only be at the ceremony but also present an award at the ceremony.

Jared Leto was recently asked about his reaction towards Lady Gaga not receiving the nomination, to which he said that he was shocked and surprised as she is someone who should be celebrated every day and should be called at the Academy Awards every year just to be there because she is such a brilliant artist.

According to sources, Lady Gaga does not feel any sort of resentment over not receiving the nomination, but now she is even more motivated to do such projects and is hoping to get the nomination next year. The snub at the Academy Awards this year has fueled her desire to perform even better in the future and earn the nomination and award.

Lady Gaga had posted a picture where she thanked the Screen Guild Award for recognizing the work of House of Gucci’s cast and nominated her for Best Actress, the cast for Best Ensemble, and actor Jared Leto for Best Supporting Actor. She mentioned that being recognized by her fellow actors touches her heart and that is very meaningful to her. She thanked everyone for their support and love and congratulated the nominees as well.

Lady Gaga recently received the Icon Award at the Palm Springs Film Awards and has been appreciated for her performance across the world. She had received nominations at the SAG, the BAFTAs, Critics’ Choice Awards, and the Golden Globes and won the award for best actress from the New York Film Critics Circle. According to sources close to the actress, the singer-actress will not be deterred by the fact that she did not receive an Academy Award nomination this year, as she has already accomplished so many of her goals and is extremely grateful.

While accepting her award for Best Actress at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards 2022, Lady Gaga said that she is thankful to the New York Film Critics Circle for recognizing her work in House of Gucci and believed that she deserved the award for Best Actress. She added that she can't believe that she gets to say it and to recognize her work, the New York Film Critics Circle has recognized every woman in her family because it was because of them that she was able to create the heart and soul of the character.

Lady Gaga in her speech thanked her Italian grandmothers who taught her to be tough and have endurance. Her mother taught her to be fearless and never take 'no' for an answer and lastly, her sister always reminded her to be brave. Gaga said that these women in her life have taught her to have feelings in a world where men are powerful along with assuring that having feelings is a beautiful thing.

Lady Gaga who looked grateful and proud while accepting the award thanked her co-stars and said that it's hard to say goodbye to art because, in the process of creating it, we learn so much about ourselves. She concluded her speech by adding that she is going to cherish the award as her ancestors handed the award to her because she knows that it came from her home.

The actress is excited and thrilled to be presenting an award and is very proud that she has decided to put all of the negativity behind her and move forward. Lady Gaga has won an Oscar for Best Original Song for "Shallow" from A Star is Born in 2019.
