After the U.S. Supreme Court decides to overturn Roe v. Wade on Friday, almost 50 years after the decision, the people of Hollywood have thoughts to share. The conservative majority on the court rendered the historic judgment, which is anticipated to result in abortion restrictions in around half of the states in the United States.

Meadow Walker stated on social media that June 24th is a significant historical setback that has resulted in a profound injustice to women across the United States. Paul Walker’s daughter shared that countless women have struggled with deciding to have an abortion and revealed that she underwent an abortion in 2020. Meadow said that she had struggled with the decision, but in 2020, when the epidemic caused the world to collapse, she got an abortion. She provided a few details. She praised the doctor who visited her and remarked that it was a very private and intimate event, as it should have been. She said that the doctor had assisted her in overcoming a crippling condition and that she is now content and in good health.

Meadow Walker added that the choice she had is no longer available to her for even more women who are seeking safe termination and the right to choose their bodies first. She called the decision a heartbreaking one and concluded that banning abortion doesn’t prevent abortions; it prevents safe abortions.

Singer Taylor Swift said that she is terrified that this is where the world is right now. After so many decades of people fighting for women’s rights to their bodies, the decision announced by the Supreme Court has stripped them of that.

According to Padma Laksmi, the Top Chef host, the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will only make safe and legal abortions impossible to perform and will not prohibit individuals from having abortions. She went on to say that with Roe v. Wade being overturned, everyone should strive to protect the freedom and dignity that each person has the right to choose whether or not to have children on their terms and at the time that seems right to them.

As soon as the verdict was made public, Alyssa Milano said that the #RoeVsWade judgment by the Supreme Court will have fatal repercussions. She proceeded by saying that because people of color already experience disproportionate prejudice in our society and are dealing with a terrible maternal mortality problem, the ruling would have a particularly negative impact on them. About the court's Thursday ruling that a century-old concealed carry legislation in New York was unconstitutional, Patricia Arquette referred to the current Supreme Court as an "awful disaster." She claimed that from allowing individuals to carry firearms to removing women's rights to control over their bodies, people weren't reacting because they knew it coming.

Billie Eilish said that today (Friday) is a dark day for women in the U.S. and she is just going to say that because she cannot bear to think about it any longer. Jessica Biel said that she is enraged with what has happened and added that it’s not only a disgusting step backward for women, undermining women’s ability to make decisions for their bodies, but it’s dangerous. Jessica concluded that the court did not ban abortion, but access to safe abortion.

Halle Berry said that she is outraged and that what the Supreme Court has done is bullshit and that something needs to be done. She went on to say that guns have more rights than women and urged the end of the war on women, as well as to keep laws off women's bodies and that people must band together and refuse to accept this. Halle said that people should not just post but also do something. Ariana DeBose also expressed her disappointment and said that she has nothing nice to say at the moment and added that nobody is telling her what she can and cannot do with her body and nobody is telling her who she gets to love or marry for that matter. She said that they were in for the fight of their lives.

John Legend also said that stormtroopers were on their way to tell women to shut up and accept government-mandated childbirth. He added sickening, along with a video of Capitol police arriving at the Supreme Court amid protests. Alicia Keys, who retweeted former President Barak Obama’s comments, wrote that the decision is about more than abortion but about who has power over women, who has the authority to make decisions for women, and who is going to control how women’s future turns out.

Ellen DeGeneres also said that throughout history women have not been trusted, not to vote or decide who they want to marry, and now women cannot make decisions related to their bodies as well. Ellen added that they are not going to let this stand, they will be heard and women will get the rights they deserve. Singer P!nk also said that anyone who believes that racism is OK, a homosexual person's business or marriage, or that government belongs in a woman's uterus should stop listening to her music.Kathy Griffin said in a tweet that she is thinking about Anita Hill today and thinking about what she went through and urged to believe women.

Lizzo also announced that she has pledged to donate $500,00 to Planned Parenthood and the National Network of Abortion Funds from the profits of her upcoming tour and said that the most important thing is action and loud voices. Elizabeth Banks said that for families, men, and women who feel that the government shouldn't decide when and with whom they have children, the ruling is devastating news. She declared that the struggle for human rights will continue after this.
