Entering into a major relationship can be hard if you have children to look after and will eventually have to meet a new partner. While adults get blind-sided at times, children are very honest with their opinions when they meet new people. So your date and kids getting to meet each other on the first date is never a good idea. Regardless, they will need to be introduced and also get an honest answer on what they think of the new potential boo. And isn't it a big headache to think if the kids will ever warm to the new person?

The same might have been Kim Kardashian's worry for some time, but apparently, her comedian boyfriend has got an all-clear sign from her four children and her famous Kardashian family. Pete Davidson has passed his test with flying colors and, as a source stated, is "loved" by the children. 

A source shared with Us Weekly that he and the children have "bonded." The source revealed, “Kim and Pete are very in sync right now. They’re very in step with each other, and the relationship is easy. They’re getting closer and closer and are a really great pair. Kim and Pete are absolutely getting more serious.”

In fact, the source also added that Pete has “bonded with her entire family,” which includes Kim's famous Kardashian sisters and their momager, Kris Jenner. Kim and Pete started dating somewhere around February 2021 last year, and the KKW Beauty owner has recently split from her former husband, Kanye West. The former couple shares four children together, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm; 2. While the celeb filed for divorce in February 2021, she became legally single by the end of last year. 

Talking of why the former couple went on to have a divorce after six years together, the reality TV personality said, “It was not, like, one specific thing that happened on either part.” “I think it was just a general difference of opinions on a few things that led to this decision, and in no way would I want someone to think I didn’t give it my all or I didn’t try,” she continued on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion episode. 

Still, the couple has found a healthy balance for their children. Kim added, “We have an amazing co-parenting relationship, and I respect him so much, and I think we’ll have — I will forever be Kanye’s biggest fan. He’s the father of my kids. Kanye will always be family.”

On the other hand, Kim got attached with Pete Davisson sometime after hosting Saturday Night Live together, and the two have been vacationing around for a bit. They have famously had dinner at Staten Island, had a roller coaster ride together where they held hands, and more. Recently, they were spotted together after a Bahamas vacation when they headed back to Los Angeles. 

As Pete has been well-received by her famous family and her children, the Skims owner is really delighted. An insider shared, “Kim is so happy and light when she’s with Pete. They seem like they’ve been together longer than they have been because of how comfortable they seem together. They’re always touching, and their chemistry is off the charts.”

An insider had revealed to Hollywood Life before Christmas, “Pete met Kim’s kids, and she introduced him to them as ‘mommy’s friend.’ Kim thought that it was really cute how he interacted with them and that he tried to make her kids laugh and smile just as he does everyone he meets!” 

Similarly, Kim herself was favored by Amy Davidson, Pete's mother, when she met him on their Staten Island date in New York. Apparently, they had “intimate conversations” and experienced “warm feelings” for each other.  

And yet, for a long time, the "Donda" rapper seriously begged Kim Kardashian to "run right back" to him. In his "Runaway" performance, he sang “I need you to run right back to me. More specifically, Kimberly.” Previously, he had said on the Drink Champs podcast, "SNL making my wife say 'I divorced him' on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I ain't never even seen the papers. We're not even divorced." He had also added that his children with Kim wanted them to be together, He said, "That ain't no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together."

While a source revealed that Kim is confused by Kanye asking her to come back, another source revealed that “Pete is not worried about Kanye trying to get back with Kim.” The insider told Us Weekly, “He’s very laid-back and understanding.” Amy Davidson also thinks that the Skim's owner is "very sweet.'

It would be interesting to see if Kim's children accept the comedian as someone more than "mommy's friend."
