Rachel Recchia is always there for Gabby Windey.
The Bachelorette co-leads Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey are trying to support each other as they go through heartbreaks. It was recently reported that Gabby Windey and Erich Schwer have called it quits after six months of being engaged.
Rachel Recchia appeared on Bachelor Happy Hour podcast where she said that Gabby Windey is so busy right now as she is currently competing in Dancing With the Stars and she is so grateful for that because she thinks that it's going to be helpful or her to keep her mind focus on something else rather than her split. Rachel also said that she is practicing all day and she is so proud of her.
Rachel added that they talk and text as much as they can, and she continues to support her in person anytime she gets the chance.
She went on to say that for everything that helps and support Gabby Windey appears to require right now, she will try to provide because everyone understands how challenging it is, particularly in public. The Bachelorette's co-lead stated that she is simply grateful that Gabby Windey has another thing to focus on, such as her competition, rather than allowing her mind to wander over whatever is going on.
Reports suggested that Gabby Windey felt that they were not aligned and were not able to come on the same page and even though she hoped that with some space they would be able to work it through, she eventually decided that they do not have a future together. Neither Gabby Windey nor Erich Schwer has addressed the breakup but Gabby did mention a few days before that they are both busy in their lives and are pursuing different interests which is why they are supporting each other from a distance.
When it comes to Rachel Recchia's healing, she shared with Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young that she has recently gone on a first date with a mystery man who slide into her DMs adding that she is taking things slow, especially after her split from Tino Franco who cheated on her. Talking about her date, she said it was casual, and the man belongs to the music industry and is very different from the guys she would usually go out with adding that it's nice to explore and see.
Rachel Recchia, who recently relocated to Los Angeles in search of a new beginning, mentioned that she is attempting to keep her trying-to-date options on the table, including those on Bachelor Nation. She tried to explain that she believes there is a level of ease in dating individuals who comprehend exactly what they've gone through, but somebody has always dated someone who is someone else's ex, so it can get surprisingly difficult in Bachelor Nation because they have all dated each other, she would be open to that coming years, but who knows?
After the finale episode, the pilot told Entertainment Tonight that every choice she made was the absolute correct move for her at the time, and that, of course, looking back, there are numerous things she could have altered, but she was far from perfect, no matter how hard she tried, and she believes that they will be able to put into rest of our lives. They simply did their best and aimed to follow our hearts and soul the entire time.
