Wynonna Judd opens up about her mother, Naomi Judd's, demise.

Wynonna Judd is opening up about how losing her mother, Naomi Judd, who died by suicide in late April, has been for her and how she is coping. Naomi Judd, who was 76 years old, passed away in late April after a long struggle with mental health, and her daughters, Ashley Judd and Wynonna Judd took to their social media to confirm the news.

Wynonna Judd took to her social media recently and penned down an emotional and heartfelt post for her late mother and updated her fans about how things have been for her by sharing a check-in. Wynonna writes in her caption that there is so much going on in the world right now and that she didn't know what to say until she chose to write it all down, but then she heard the words from her life coach, who asked her, "What do you know?" and she confessed that she began to weep.

The singer continued the caption, stating that she knows that the pain of losing her mother on 4/30 to suicide is so great that she sometimes feels like she is never going to be able to fully accept and surrender to the truth that she left the way she did. Wynonna added that this is not how The Judds' story ends.

She extended her remark by stating that to recover and be a healthy grandma to her eldest grandchild, Kaliyah, she must continue to show up for herself and do the things she has to do to heal. Wynonna Judd stated that she intends to stop the cycle of addiction and family dysfunction and that while she recognizes that these are basic actions, they are difficult to do at times, and she has pledged herself to continue doing the right thing.

Wynonna Judd concluded that she has scheduled her weekly appointment so that she can continue to work even when she has good days before adding that she feels powerless right now, and she realizes how corny it sounds, she finds herself on the farm at night singing the song her mother penned for the fans. The singer stated that she is mourning and that she recognizes that she cannot handle everything on her own, thus it is OK to seek medical and professional support if necessary.

Wynonna Judd thanked everyone for the immense love and support they have outpoured for her and added that she will continue to keep fighting for her faith, herself, and family, and she will continue to show up and sing. While announcing and confirming the death of Naomi Judd, Ashley Judd and Wynonna Judd wrote that they have experienced a tragedy and revealed that they have lost their mother to the disease of mental illness and they are shattered. The statement shared on April 30th, 2022, read that they are navigating profound grief and they loved their mother as much as the public loved her.

The Judds were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame the day after Naomi Judd died, and Wynonna Judd accepted the award onstage at Nashville's CMA Theater with tears in her eyes. Even if her heart is broken right now, Wynonna Judd remarked while winning the award that she will continue to sing because it is what we do. Following her mother's death, Wynonna Judd announced that she will continue with their already scheduled The Judds: The Final Tour because that would her mother would have wanted her to do. She stated that she has chosen to go on with the tour and commemorate her after much thinking and debate since it is what her fans would want and, as they say, the show must go on.

Wynonna will be joined on stage by country music artists to sing some of The Judds' most timeless tunes at the highly anticipated event. Martina McBride will be the first famous guest, performing a performance of her hits before Wynonna takes the stage on various nights.
