According to reports, Armie Hammer’s scandalous life will be the subject of a new upcoming true crime special.

According to the news release, ID and Discoveyr+ announced recently "House of Hammer," a new show that will detail Armie Hammer's scandalous life, including documentation of the five generations of the Hammer family, using a treasured evidence of archives and interviews with surviving victims and family members to expose a disrupted dynasty with its men exhibiting all the disastrous effects of privilege gone wild.

ID and Discovery+ used words like "debauchery," "deceit," "abuse," "addiction," and "corruption" to describe the Hammer family in the introduction, claiming that the men in the Hammer family have more secrets and scandals than any vault could hold, and concluding that Armie Hammer's alleged crimes are just the tip of the iceberg.

Because the Hammer family has been a source of considerable controversy for years, dating back to actor Armie Hammer's great grandfather, Armand Hammer, the House of Hammer looks to be a fascinating subject for the public to examine. Starting with Armand Hammer, who admitted to helping President Richard Nixon's campaign by providing illicit finances and secrets and followed by Julian Hammer, who was accused of murdering Bruce Whitlock in 1955 over an old debt.

Julian Hammer pled not guilty and mentioned that he acted in self-defense and charges were later dropped, but he was also accused of sexually assaulting his daughters, Casey and Sue Kane. According to accounts online, Dr. Julius Hammer was convicted of killing and performing abortion in 1921 which was illegal at the time and was sentenced to three years in jail. The illegal abortion procedure resulted in the death of a Russian diplomat's wife.

Armie Hammer was accused of sexual abuse and violently raping a woman named Effie, along with sending various women graphic sexual messages about rape and cannibalism. Courtney Vucekovich, Armie Hammer's ex-partner, also stated during an interview with Page Six's Francesca Bacardi at the time that Armie had told her that he would break her rib and barbecue and eat it and that she had ignored or overlooked a lot of his strange behavior during their relationship. Courtney also stated that Armie told her that he would like to take a bite out of her.

Courtney also mentioned that Armie Hammer persuaded her into having a bondage scenario, which she was not comfortable with initially, but she eventually gave her consent and regretted it later.

As Effie claimed, the actor mentally, emotionally, and sexually abused her during their four-year-long relationship. In an interview in 2013, the actor admitted to liking rough sex but changed his mind after marrying his now estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers. Armie said in the interview with Playboy that he liked the grabbing of the neck, the hair, and all of that, but then he got married and his sexual appetite changed.

The actor clarified that it’s not like he is suffering or anything, but those are the things one cannot do with their partner if they respect them too much to do things like that. Later, Armie Hammer said that he overshared and blamed alcohol for that. The actor, after the allegations went public, was dropped out of various projects and Elizabeth Chambers filed for divorce from the actor in 2020, requesting primary physical custody of their kids with joint legal custody for Armie Hammer.

Armie Hammer’s ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze also spoke in 2021 and shared with Vanity Fair that he started to make rules for her and started telling her what she could do and what she couldn't, which made her uncomfortable and sick to her stomach about other things he mentioned. Paige admitted that she ended the relationship over text because she thought it was better to do that over text than in person. After all, Armie Hammer was a scary person and was drawn to the dark side just like the men in his family.

Armie Hammer’s representative and lawyer, Andrew Brettler, said in 2021 in a statement that all the interactions between Armie and his former partners were consensual. The statement continued that everything was discussed, agreed upon in advance with his partners, and mutually participatory.

Armie Hammer went to a rehab center in Florida for nine months in 2021 and sources close to him, including his mother Dru Mobley, have mentioned that he is doing good. The strangest aspect of the Hammer family was revealed in a Vanity Fair exposé in March 2021, which claimed that the family's men are known to be drawn to darkness, and Armie Hammer is one of them. Dru Mobley, Armie Hammer's mother, wrote to Vanity Fair after the expose was published, saying she forgives them for writing such a harsh article about her family, but she doesn't understand the press's position of destroying families.

Dru went on to say that she understands it's their job to do so, but it's extremely upsetting that the publication would write another article about the Hammer family, despite the fact that she knows all the calls the publication made to former alleged mistresses, their former husbands, and so on were not to vindicate the family.

Many true-crime titles are coming to ID, including "House of Hammer." The network will also investigate Gabby Petito's death in "Gabby Petito: An ID Murder Mystery," which will premiere in October.
