Chloe Zhao's adaptation of The Eternals is just two weeks away from its official release and the fans are dying to see their favorite comic book superheroes making their way into a live-action film.

In a recent interview with IndieWire, Chloe Zhao while discussing the various details of the superhero epic revealed that the film will feature MCU's first brief intimate scene between the two characters.

Zhao explained to IndieWire that the intimate scene that is going to be featured in the film, is included after a lot of discussions around it by the filmmakers. "From that moment to what you see on-screen there was definitely a lot of discussion about how to do it, but I think the desire to do something different is a very natural desire for where Marvel Studios is right now. I think it's like Westerns coming into the revisionist period of the '70s. I think it's happening to superhero films -- or at least we're on the edge of that. And so these scenes just started to happen naturally."

Zhao continued by saying that for her and the team working behind the screen on the film to show the intimate scene was "a really beautiful thing." "For us to be able to show two people who love each other, not just emotionally and intellectually but also physically, and to have an intimate scene that will be seen by a lot of people that shows their love and compassion and gentleness -- I think it's a really beautiful thing."

While this is the first time the studio is trying to depict a significant intimate scene as it has previously shied to do so, but not many details have been revealed about the intimate scene Zhao is referring to, it's definitely not particularly explicit considering the film's PG-13 rating.

As the fans are concerned, the film is going to explore the "origin of the MCU through the mythology of the Celestials" Zhao revealed in another one of her interviews. "I think a big part of it is that audiences will be discovering the origin of the MCU through the mythology of the Celestials, I think by the end of the film, we will have a new understanding of planet Earth’s relationship with the cosmos, and also with her own inhabitants. But in that sense, it [will] have a huge effect on the future of the MCU," Chloe Zhao revealed what is it that the fans and followers could expect from the movie, in an interview.

In addition to Chloe Zhao as the film director, it features Kumail Nanjian in the role of Kingo, Salma Hayek in the role of Ajak, Angelina Jolie in the role of Thena, Brian Tyree Henry in the role of Phastos, Richard Madden in the role of Ikaris, Gemma Chan in the role of Sersi, Lauren Ridloff in the role of Makkari, Lia McHugh in the role of Sprite, Barry Keoghan in the role of Druig, Don Lee in the role of Gilgamesh, Kit Harington in the role of Dane Whitman with additional actors including Harish Patel, Haaz Steiman as Phastos' husband, Ozer Ercan as a smuggler and Zain Al Rafeea in an unknown role.
