Is it over for Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian?
According to reports, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have called it quits on their romance after nine months but they are friends.
The duo, who were romantically linked in October 2021 after Kim Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live and the two of them shared a kiss during a sketch, decided to end their relationship this week. A source confirmed that the couple had decided to end their relationship because of their busy schedules, as both of them have been traveling, working, and living in different time zones, which was making it hard for them to work things out.
The source shared that Pete Davidson, being away for so long in Australia, was really trying to catch up with them and Kim Kardashian is doing well and understands that she has a lot going on right now. Even though she recently visited him in Australia, it was getting harder for them to make this work. The insider continues, Pete is completely impulsive and spontaneous and expects her to go to New York, or wherever he is, on a moment's notice. Kim has four children, so it's not that simple as she is a dedicated mother and she has always said that the kids and then her business is her priority. The source also said that Kim Kardashian was exhausted with all the traveling.
The news of the duo going their separate ways comes after it was reported that Kim Kardashian, who was spending some time with ex-husband Kanye West and their kids, was looking forward to having a sit down between Kanye West and Pete Davidson for the sake of the kids. A source at the time mentioned that Pete Davidson, who had been filming in Australia for a movie, was doing everything to make the long-distance relationship work and that the comedian-actor and the beauty mogul had been writing love notes to each other.
Even though Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian have split and the SKIMS founder has been spending time with her ex-husband and co-parenting with him, it in no way means that she will be putting a pause on her divorce. A source mentioned that the divorce is moving ahead with Kanye West and they are co-parenting their four kids happy and they are in a great place right now. Kim recently showcased her support for Kanye West’s fashion label, "Yeezy," and sources added that she was happy to be asked to be a part of the campaign with the kids to support Kanye West, but this does not mean that they are getting back together.
Kim Kardashian, while appearing on Amanda Hirsch’s "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast in April, said that when she kissed Pete Davidson during the sketch, she realized that she had not kissed anyone in ten years and thought that maybe she was thinking too much. The two of them made their social media debut when Kim Kardashian shared pictures of them in March, and later they walked the red carpet at the Met Gala 2022.
Pete Davidson, while appearing on Hart to Heart last month, shared with host Kevin Hart that having kids is his dream and he is focusing and preparing himself for that now, trying to be as good as possible and develop and get better. The duo, even though they have ended their romance, have great respect and love for each other, and Pete Davidson is most likely to appear in the second season of ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu which is returning in September.
In the first season of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian revealed that Pete Davidson makes her laugh all the time, and she is not worried about being all dolled up as she can be chill and at ease when she is around him. The family members also mentioned that Pete Davidson makes Kim Kardashian happy and they are very happy to see her smiling all the time. (She also mentioned the BDE).
