Is Jen Shah seriously planning to get assistance from Kim Kardashian?
The Real Housewives of Sal Lake City star Jen Shah is opening up about her legal troubles and also shedding some light on whether she wants to add Kim Kardashian to her legal team. Jen Shah is facing federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering in an alleged long-running telemarketing scam. She and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested in March 2021. Stuart Smith pleaded guilty to the charges back in November, but Jen Shah has pleaded not guilty.
During a two-part interview with the YouTube series Up and Adam with host Adam Newell, Jen Shah shared that she is fighting for her freedom and she is innocent. She added that she is not guilty of any of the charges that she is being accused of and mentioned that this is the only option for her.
Jen shared with Adam Newell that the only thing she could do was fight and show everyone out there that they were quick to jump to the conclusion that she was innocent. The star added that she is fighting for her family and her freedom and she is not going to stop until she proves it. She went ahead to appreciate her fans 'Shah Squad' who have believed her and supported her throughout her tough time and added that they are a part of her family now because they constantly motivate her and send her positivity and remind her that there are people out there who believe in her and are inspired by her.
Talking about Kim Kardashian, Jen Shah said that she was not joking when she said that she wanted to get help from Kim Kardashian, who has been an advocate for criminal justice reform and the Innocent Project. Jen Shah shared that she respects Kim Kardashian for the work she has put in and is grateful for the work she has done for black people who have been wrongly accused or imprisoned. Jen added that Kim Kardashian has fought hard for them. She went to the White House to fight for them alongside their families to get them out. The reality star shared that she has massive respect for Kim Kardashian for doing such great work and she looks up to her for that.
During the conversation, she also mentioned that she understands how hard she is working to pursue her legal passion as she supported her husband through law school and she is aware of how grueling that is and the amount of preparation it takes to pass the bar exam is beyond one’s imagination. But Jen Shah clarified that even without Kim Kardashian on her legal team, she has the utmost faith in her current legal team and they are determined to let the truth out.
Jen Shah concluded that if you do the right thing, the right thing pays you off in some way or the other, and you will be blessed, and added that even though she does not know why she is going through this or why her family is going through such a difficult time, she has faith in God that something good will happen for them. She added that there is a reason for this and she just feels like she needs to set an example for others that they have to fight their battles.
Jen Shah has been a regular on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and also appeared in a documentary last year, The Housewife and the Shah Shocker which Jen Shah said she did not watch.
