Pamela Anderson is not interested to watch her documentary.

Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson during a discussion with Vanity Fair discussed that she currently has no aspirations of watching her Netflix docudrama titled, 'Pamela, A Love Story'. She stated that she has not seen the docudrama, which includes haven't ever footage and pictures from her past love interests, projects such as Baywatch and her Broadway Chicago run, as well as her children Brandon and Dylan.

The documentary is directed by Emmy-nominated documentarian Ryan White, who told Vanity Fair that he appears to believe many documentaries that have been made till now about Pamela Anderson seem to be about product marketing or promoting a product, whereas Pamela is the absolute opposite of that. He described that they sat down and she told him that he could ask her anything about her life and she would be open and honest.

Ryan White revealed that the actress' infamous stolen tape was only a hundred hours of recordings that Pamela Anderson and her then partner Tommy Lee had videotaped adding that there is no estimation with the way the actress thinks about some of these types of things, and that it is just them being raw and candid for better or worse. Ryan White expressed his gratitude for the chance to collaborate with someone like her.

The director went on to say that it was her sons Brandon and Dylan who persuaded Pamela Anderson to tell her story on her terms adding that the boys adore their mom and loathe seeing her story told by other individuals in a way that fails to feel true to who she is. Pamela is an extremely honest and forthcoming person by nature which is why Ryan White feels that it could be the reason Pamela has been destroyed so many times throughout her life, but he also appears to believe it is what makes her so likeable and infectious. Pamela Anderson revealed that Brandon is both a producer and an actor in the film.

She went on to say that her son can talk to her about any subject with the sincerity and fearlessness that only a child can have, and that he wishes to tell her story in its entirety, without disruption. Speaking about her choice to talk about the stolen tape at length once and for all, Pamela Anderson explains that nobody has ever discovered the truth well about the tape that had been stolen and then marketed for much more than $75 million. She continued by saying that although she doesn't fully understand everything that did happen, she appears to believe the most essential factor is to communicate her feelings and emotions as well as the amount of traumatizing she felt and how it incontestably defined her beginning to continue moving forward in her professional life and her relationships. According to Rolling Stone, the starlet did not receive a damn penny from the tape, but others benefitted greatly from it, leaving her with a tremendous amount of trauma to deal with.

Pamela Anderson, according to Ryan White, wears her heart on her sleeve and in all facets of her life, not just with romantic partners. He revealed that her former spouses, who have made a significant influence on her life, will be depicted in the documentary. He adds that no despite how many times it may not have worked out for her, she is and always has been a romantic at heart in quest of real love in all forms. Pamela Anderson agreed to watch a few of her home movies for the very first time while shooting the movie for the documentary, which includes videos of her at her residence with her young sons, her wedding to Kid Rock, and even her early stages of romance and relationship with Tommy Lee.

The director went on to say that they have an entire collection of Pamela Anderson and then partner Tommy Lee falling for one another and that he hopes to personify them in their film in a way they should have always been portrayed. Ryan White noted that the former couple is often portrayed as significantly bigger characters, even cartoon characters, but when they watched the footage of them meeting, it was just lovely. Ryan describes the film as "Pamela, a love story," and it includes many love stories. Finally, he believes the film's climax is about her pouring so much love into herself. The documentary, ‘Pamela, A Love Story,' is set to release on the same day as Pamela Anderson's Harper Collins memoir Love, Pamela. The memoir is also expected to be a candid confession about her life.

‘Pamela, A Love Story’, releases on 31st January 2023 on Netflix.
