It’s over for Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone.

According to various sources, Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have decided to go their separate ways after being together for almost four years. The ex-couple sparked romance rumors back in 2017, although they kept their relationship away from the media as much as they could and rarely made any public appearances together.

A source shared with E! News that the duo were spending a lot of time apart this summer and were doing their things. Although they tried to manage their time together and fit quality time into their schedules, both of them had been traveling a lot, which eventually led them to reevaluate their relationship and go their separate ways. Another source confirmed that it was the distance which made their romance run it's course and thus they decided to part ways.

On asking about whether there is a chance of reconciliation for the ex-couple, the insider clarified that at the moment, reconciliation is out of the picture, but who can say about the future?

Back in 2017, Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone were spotted together in Los Angeles, and later the model joined the actor along with his friend Tobey Maguire on a trip to Colorado and was later spotted getting cozy at Coachella in 2018. In 2019, Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone attended the Cannes Film Festival and were met with backlash about the 22-year age gap to which Camila said that the people are so mean and full of anger toward people they know nothing about.

The model went on to say that those who are criticizing their relationship should learn to live with a bit less animosity and divert their attention to other things since it feels wonderful to live without hatred. In a Los Angeles Times profile, she also discussed the age gap and stated that she believes everyone should be free to date anyone they choose because there are so many partnerships in the world today and throughout history when there are significant age disparities.

Camila also remarked that, if looking at it from the outside, she too would be fascinated by the age difference, but that there should always be more to a person than their romantic relationships. The model continued by saying that while she recognizes the connection, she is optimistic that it will fade more and become less of a topic of conversation. Despite walking the red carpet separately, the pair attended the 2020 Oscars together and sat in the same row.

A few months before her Times interview, Camila Morrone spoke to Entertainment Tonight referring to her upbringing in Hollywood, she claimed that the experience had served to prepare her for the course she ultimately took. The model claimed that because she was lucky enough to have grown up in Hollywood, she had early exposure to the business and had seen a lot of it. Although Camila's mother dated Al Pacino for a while, she claimed that because both of her parents were performers and she had grown up around the profession, she didn't feel intimidated when she entered the field.

During the initial COVID-19 waves, Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone reportedly spent a significant amount of time together while under lockdown, which only served to solidify their bond. At the time, the sources said the couple was in love and that Camila was his ideal woman. The relationship is straightforward because both of their families get along well, and the model is youthful, kind, and uncomplicated. They have been friends all time, so it simply fits.

Neither Leonardo DiCaprio or Camila Morrone has commented on their split.
