It’s over for Jacob Elordi and Kaia Gerber!
Following the breakup news of Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, it has been reported that Australian actor Jacob Elordi and actress-model Kaia Gerber have also gone their separate ways after a year of dating.
According to People Magazine, a source has confirmed that the two actors who went Instagram official just a few months ago have decided to end their relationship in an amicable way. The couple was last recently spotted leaving a Halloween party dressed in retro-looking costumes.
As for Jacob Elordi, it is a well-known fact that the actor tends to keep the aspects of his relationship mostly private, so there has not been much information provided on why the two of them decided to go their separate ways. Fans speculated that the couple had decided to put an end to their relationship after the actress-model, Kaia Gerber took down the pictures of Jacob Elordi from her social media.
The model's last snapshot of the couple was at her 20th birthday party, which she shared in a slideshow on September 16th, 2021. Soon after, on September 25th, 2021, the pair made their red carpet debut at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala in Los Angeles. As they grinned at one other on the red carpet, Kaia Gerber donned a sleeveless sparkling gold Celine by Hedi Slimane gown, and Jacob Elordi wore a black Celine Homme tuxedo by Hedi Slimane.
The two started to spark their romance in September of this year when they were spotted packing on the PDA while walking around New York City and having dinner at Nobu in Malibu, California. That same month, Jacob and Kaia's relationship appeared to take a more serious turn as the Australian heartthrob vacationed with Gerber’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, in Mexico. Soon after this, the couple went Instagram official as they shared pictures of their Halloween costumes.
Jacob Elordi wore a blue suit, gold aviator glasses, sideburns, and the "Heartbreak Hotel" singer's characteristic pompadour, and Kaia Gerber with her stunning lavender eye makeup and lipstick with an over-the-top bouffant as rock 'n' roll lovers Elvis and Priscilla Presley.
Kaia Gerber appeared on her first American Vogue cover, featuring in their June/July and again in their September issue, during which she opened up about her relationship, stating that "being able to be with someone I trust, where we don't want anything from each other, having a safe, steady relationship like that, has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of love and what it feels like to love without conditions." She gushed over Jacob Elordi and added, "Lust is touching other people or wanting them, but love is really seeing someone."

Before dating Kaia Gerber, Jacob Elordi was linked to his "Euphoria" co-star Zendaya as they were spotted kissing, but that did not last long and Zendaya is now dating her 'Spider-Man' co-star Tom Holland. Jacob Elordi also dated his 'Kissing Booth', co-star Joey King for almost two years before they ended their relationship. The actors although worked on their Kissing Booth sequels and played a couple on-screen amid their relationship ending in real life.
As for the rising model, Kaia Gerber dated Pete Davidson, and their romance ended soon enough as the reports of him working on his mental health started to follow.
