Jamie Lynn Spears talks about communicating about near-fatal ATV accident with her daughter Maddie.

Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who will be seen on Fox’s new reality series "Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test," shared how she talks about her near-fatal ATV accident with her daughter Maddie.

In her conversation with Page Six, the actress said that they did a lot of work, obviously to process it, and now it’s about focusing on the positive and the fact that it is a miracle, which is not the case for so many people. Jamie Lynn adds that she feels blessed because surviving a near-fatal ATV accident does not just happen for no reason, stating that she and her daughter Maddie celebrate it as their miracle anniversary.

Jamie Lynn Spears and her eight-year-old daughter Maddie have been at Jamie Watson's mom and dad's house in 2017 when Maddie ended up going for a ride on her ATV. Maddie was buckled into the ATV when it became immersed in water in a pond. In a miraculous sequence of events, Maddie continued to suffer no brain trauma and ultimately recovered completely.

"Special Forces: The World's Toughest Test" is a Fox reality show in which 16 famous people travel to Jordan's desert areas to push themselves both physically and mentally through a sequence of arduous obstacles designed for US military training.

Jamie Lynn Spears told Entertainment Tonight that she was at first frightened by the television series as she is a control freak and did not even know how she'd react in an uncertain environment. Jamie Lynn Spears got to add that having left her children was also challenging for her, but she decided to undertake something she hadn't ever done before. When elsewhere in her life would she get the chance to jump out of a plane and travel around the world? The actress asserted that she believes that it is something that, if asked, no one can refuse.

Jamie also stated that she decided to appear on such a show while preserving her children in her mind. She did explain that she believes that being able to do something like this can help show children that they are individuals and that, as they reach adulthood, they should always remember to continue doing things that test them, never back down from the challenge, never get forced to stick in any kind of rut, and not to afraid to say yes. She said that people should just go ahead and try it and see what they are competent of. The little sister of pop icon Britney Spears, stated that she claims to believe that was a big part of her decision to do it, adding that because when she told her older daughter she was like, "Yes, go do it." Jamie said in conclusion that she did think it was important for her to do something that scared her a little bit.

She explained that going through the physical aspects to bring out the mental recovery was essential, but the interaction with Maddie was saddening for her, adding that although it turned out to be a supernatural event and she survived, all the water and elements in the helicopter mission were difficult for her and she puked the moment she was asked if she was okay. Jamie noted that her body recalled the trauma of Maddie's accident, but it was also exceedingly healing. Jamie discussed that she cried for the next hour or so; she needed it. She stated that she never permitted herself to go there and that the sole way to get there emotionally and mentally was to push herself physically.

Jamie also mentioned that having Beverley Mitchell, a mother, around was beneficial because they kept inspiring each other by trying to tell each other that they had it and that they they were not the only ones. The actress went on to say that there were numerous car rides and bonding moments where the two mothers talked about their children, and having some of these moments in which they could lean on each other having to know how difficult it was to leave their children but just being able to share the stories and laugh at the moments of levity was essential.

Special Forces: The World's Toughest Test premieres Jan. 4 on Fox.
