Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde’s former nanny sues the former couple.

Former couple Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde's former nanny has opted to sue the former couple, asserting that she was unfairly dismissed when she requested for a 72-hour break from the interpersonal chaos caused by their split as she experienced unendurable stress and anxiety.

Erika Genaro, who began working for the actors in 2018, claims that their split in 2020 had created a tense environment in their household which had jeopardized her mental health, according to a lawsuit she filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday. The nanny claims that after Olivia Wilde's "abrupt" departure from the family's home in November 2020, Jason Sudeikis frequently spoke about her, which led to her feeling the pressure to pick sides between the couple.

Erika's nanny duties were expanded after the actress and director Olivia Wilde left and according to documents, Erika did speak to Olivia Wilde privately, which was later communicated to Jason Sudeikis. The documents said that believing that Olivia Wilde would be a trustworthy listener because Erika Genaro was the primary caregiver for her children at the time, Erika Genaro made plans to meet Olivia Wilde in Palm Springs, California, where the actress-director was continuing to work. Erika further asserts in the documents that during their meeting, she confided in Olivia Wilde, perhaps naively, about how stressed and worried and stressed she is about the home situation due to her absence and Jason Sudeikis' late-night conversations about Olivia Wilde's absence.

Erika Genaro felt a genuine sense of relief and comradeship while speaking her heart out to Olivia Wilde, who according to her reacted sympathetically and she believed that she had gotten much off her chest to be capable of functioning without anxiety as the live-in nanny for Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis' children, with Olivia Wilde as a dependable ear. But however the following month, in December 2020, Erika Genaro asserts she was driving Jason Sudeikis to the airport when he told her that Olivia Wilde told him the entire discussion she had with her in Palm Springs which stunned her and her heart sank due to its significance that there was no peace when communicating with the actress.

According to the lawsuit, Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde agreed to participate in group therapy with Erika Genaro around January 2021 to confront the "emotional toll" of their situation. Erika stated in the lawsuit that her therapist keep referring her to an osteopath, who recommended that she should take a three-day break from communicating with Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde to help to reduce her anxiety and stress. However, Genaro claims that after being notified of the need for a three-day medical leave, Jason Sudeikis requested to speak with her and dismissed her after she refused, citing her physician's recommendation.

In her lawsuit, the former nanny claims that her termination was due to her disability of anxiety or depression, for which she sought a reasonable accommodation of a three-day leave of absence. The Daily Mail reported on the couple's alleged breakup in October, citing an unnamed nanny as their source.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis said in an October statement that it was disheartening that their children's caregiver would create unfounded and slanderous allegations about them. In their statement, they stated that her 18-month harassment campaign against them, as well as their dear ones, acquaintances, and coworkers, had managed to reach an incredibly sad climax and that they will continue to concentrate on raising and protecting their children in the honest hope that she will choose to leave their immediate family alone.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis began dating in 2011 and were involved for several years before the couple called it quits in November 2020, according to People magazine. When news of their separation broke in November 2020, a source told PEOPLE that the couple's children were their top priority. The source mentioned that the former couple is cordial, and they've settled into a wonderful co-parenting routine adding that the kids are the primary concern and the heart of the family relationship.

A source close to the former couple shared recently that the former nanny Erika Genaro has established a pattern to try and score both fame and money, and this is yet another avenue she's trying to get paid. Erika Genaro is trying to sue for unfair dismissal, compensatory damages, lost earnings, employee compensation, and other employment benefits.
