Actress Jennifer Aniston will be honored with the prestigious Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment breakfast gala that will take place on December 8th, 2021 in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Aniston will be honored with the award that recognizes trailblazers and philanthropists in entertainment and media by her "The Morning Show" co-star and 'The Office' alum Steve Carell. Jennifer Aniston will join a long line of celebrities who have earned major accolades, including Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Shonda Rhimes, Barbra Streisand, Viola Davis, Jodie Foster, and Barbara Walters, with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.

The editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter, Nekesa Mumbi Moody on Jennifer Aniston on being awarded said, "Jennifer has excelled across television, film, and production; she is a dynamic leader within the entertainment industry and beyond. In addition to her many career accomplishments, she has also shown her generosity with her philanthropic efforts. This year, we are thrilled to honour such an amazing woman."

Sherry Lansing, the first woman to lead a studio, former president of 20th Century Fox, and chairman/CEO of Paramount Pictures, is honored with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award. Sherry Lansing is noted for her work on films such as 'Fatal Attraction' and 'The Accused.' Sherry Lansing on Jennifer Aniston on being awarded said, "I have been Jennifer's biggest fan since I first saw and fell in love with her on Friends. Year after year, I have watched her become an enormous force in the industry. She brings her extraordinary talent and unique vitality to every project. Even more important, her tireless support of philanthropic causes such as Stand Up to Cancer, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and countless others inspires us all to give back."

Jennifer Aniston, an Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG Award winner, will be honored at the Women In Entertainment event, which will be attended by 600 industry leaders and VIPs, alongside some of Hollywood's most powerful women. The Hollywood Reporter's annual Power 100 list of the top hundred women in film and television is released at the same time as the event.

Aside from Jennifer Aniston's great acting career, the actress has garnered numerous awards, including the GLAAD Vanguard Award in 2007 for her excellent support of the LGBTQ community. Jennifer Aniston has volunteered and donated time and money to a variety of charities, including Americares, Doctors Without Borders, Feeding America, Project ALS, Best Friends Animal Society, and the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network.

Talking to People, Jennifer Aniston told in June that she is in a peaceful place in her life right now and is extremely thankful for it. She mentioned that she has a job that she loves, people who mean everything to her in her life, and beautiful dogs. Jennifer said that she feels incredibly fortunate and blessed as a human being to be in the place where she is right now.

Jennifer Aniston was asked about her favorite moment of the day to which she said it’s the sunset and added, "I wish we could freeze time in that magic hour because there's a lot of taking it all in, the appreciation of the day and what's happening." The actress channelizes with herself with the help of meditation and quoted, "For me, I meditate every day — and sitting quietly, writing. That's enough. And any kind of yoga practice is my meditation. I just have faith in a bigger picture, I guess. And I believe in humanity, even though there's so much to discourage us from believing in it — but I do."

The actress also mentioned that self-awareness is the key to anyone’s success, and shared that she has gotten so much more with the help of therapy than she expected. Jennifer Aniston mentioned that just being a public person, people should understand that when there are perks there are cons or repercussions as well because everyone is human and human beings tend to walk around with bulls-eyes on their heads.
