Jessica Szohr is engaged to Brad Richardson!
Gossip Girl fame Jessica Szohr took to her social media to announce her engagement to Brad Richardson and showed off her huge sparkling diamond ring while cuddling with her fiancé.
Jessica Szohr captioned the post, ‘I said Yes!’ and wishes and love started pouring in for the newly engaged couple, including Nina Dobrev, who is one of Jessica Szohr’s closest friends, commented on her post with a couple of heartfelt emojis, while Claire Holt congratulated the couple and Chace Crawford commented, "Love you guys."
The newly engaged couple that started dating in 2018 are parents to 16-month-old daughter Bowie Ella Richardson, who was born in January 2021. After meeting at the Stagecoach country music festival in April 2019, Jessica Szohr and Brad Richardson revealed their romance on Instagram, and they announced their pregnancy in September 2020.
Jessica Szohr, who is mostly known for her role as Vanessa Abrams on Gossip Girl, wrote on Instagram that the time she spent with Brad and his daughter Lexi during her pregnancy days was one of the most wonderful experiences of her life. Then she went on to say that to build a human who is ideal in their eyes and gives them the sensation that she doesn't exist is beyond words. Brad Richardson shared a sweet message for his wife to be on Mother’s Day and shared a couple of pictures of the actress with the kids and wrote "happy Mother’s Day to an amazing mom and person."
Jessica also shared an appreciation post for her man on social media in January stating that she is thankful for him today and every day. She added that she is aware that she does tell him the same thing from time to time but that doesn't mean that she could not post it or share it. Jessica added to the post that today she wanted everyone who follows her or is interested in her life to know that this man is a special human with a huge heart and she is lucky to have crossed paths with him!
Jessica Szohr was previously linked to Aaron Rodgers, Scotty McKnight, and Ed Westwick, and Brad Richardson was formerly married to Lauren Hunt, with whom he shares Lexi. Jessica presently hosts a Gossip Girl podcast, which she clarified is not a re-watch podcast, but she did want to take a trip down memory lane and re-watch some episodes. She started the podcast with an idea to give the people an inside look at the show, including how it was put together, adding that she hoped that let’s give everyone a little bit of why Gossip Girl became a hit.
Jessica Szohr also shared that she has been analyzing the series from a mother’s perspective and that everyone on the show is in different chapters of their lives. The actress shared that it’s fun to watch the show now and especially try to analyze the character, like she cannot believe Serena would do this or Blair did this, etc.
