Jessie James Decker shares her body image struggles and mental health.

Jessie James Decker, a country singer, recently took to social media to express her feelings about her body image issues, self-esteem, anxiety, and confidence. She wrote in the caption that she decided to share her struggles because she had reached a point where she was trying to hide her vulnerabilities. After all, she believed that if she made everything look perfect all the time, it would help her hide the struggle she has been facing on the inside.

Jessie James Decker continued that she always felt that she had a duty to make people smile or happy or laugh and always come off as a bubbly girl for the audience. She is just thankful that she has a wonderful life, but she cannot ignore the fact that she has struggled with a lot of things in the past couple of years. She added that she finds herself crying and breaking down at times, which is the worst.

Jessie James Decker continued by stating that she has always struggled with body image issues. She went on to explain that she goes from one extreme where she is obsessed with working out and being muscular and thin to another where she just gives up and puts on weight because the food makes her feel better and that this cycle only makes matters worse. The country singer had to recently postpone some of her recent shows after she was tested positive for COVID-19, and while she is now rescheduling her dates for the summer shows, she added that she is always trying to find a spot and prove to the industry that she deserves to be here and a spot on-stage.

The singer added that she has been struggling and facing some challenges in terms of her professional career and said that she has always wanted to be a country singer since she was nine years old and sometimes she feels like she is battling with the rest of the industry to prove that she is good at what she does, which is singing and music and she is more than just a TV personality or an influencer. As a woman who is living in 2022, she does not understand why she cannot have a family, publish books, own a fashion brand, be an influencer, and do TV without being asked whether she takes her music career seriously or not. Jessie said that she is just someone who chooses to dream big and is constantly working to achieve her dreams.

Eric Decker’s wife added that after she had to cancel several of her shows recently due to COVID-19, she felt like she had let so many people down and wondered if they would like to return to come to her show once the tour is back up and running later in the summer. The singer, who let her guard down and got honest about her feelings, received love and support from her husband, who appreciated her by writing that her vulnerability is inspiring and beautiful.

Jessie hopes that by being honest and open about how she feels at the moment, she can connect with her fans in a new way and while she is expressing her gratitude for everything she has in her life right now, she also acknowledges that it’s okay not to feel okay and she just wanted to be honest about her feelings. She added that it did not feel authentic to her if she had kept her real feelings from the people who follow her or look up to her and said that she has a beautiful life with people who love and support her and she cannot stop being thankful for it. She concluded that while everything was good, she needed to be honest about her challenges and needed to sit down and work on her mental health for real.

Jessie James Decker said that she understands and knows that she is not alone in this, but she has to do better and not post about just the good times in her life but about bad ones too, which is going to help her heal through this tough phase of life.
