Jillian Michaels is the happiest lady in the world right now! The beautiful couple is very excited about their future following their engagement.
The TV star shared her happy news with her 1.4 million fans online on Instagram as she revealed that her girlfriend had said “Yes” to her proposal! The Biggest Loser coach wrote on her social media handle, “1153 days… there are thousands more. She said ‘yes’ ❤️.” The Instagram celebrity paired the lovely caption with a sweet selfie of the couple that featured Michaels's girlfriend and her massive engagement ring on the central stage.
The Sunday, November 28 post by the fitness coach, aged 47 was soon followed by a similar engagement announcement post by the fiancee, Minuto, aged 36. The Letterino 85 founder posted a similarly sweet snap of the two ladies paired with a short but beautiful message paired with a ring emoji. DeShanna Marie Minuto just wrote “YES! 💍,” on her Instagram post.
Jilliana was quick to claim the post for herself along with the affection of her lady love as she commented “Mine ❤️” lovingly under the post.
Minuto and Michaels have for over two years now and have been quite transparent with their love life on their social media posts. They usually post beautiful pictures of each with heartfelt messages and cute captions to pair them with as they gush about their sweet relationship on their Instagram handles. On their two-year relationship anniversary, last month in October, Michaels wrote a cute message for her girlfriend and thanked her for making her feel loved and also turning her into a better person.
The author captioned her October Instagram post“I can’t believe it’s been two years. @deshannamarie thank you for showing me how much love gives and how hard it works.”Adding in more praise and appreciation for the fashion designer, she continued, “Thank you for teaching me something new every day. Thank you for making me a better person. Thank you for being you and sharing yourself with me. I love you more… Happy Anniversary babe ❤️❤️❤️.”
The couple had started dating back in July 2019 as confirmed by Us Weekly. Previously, Michaels was together with Yoga instructor Heidi Rhoades in a longtime relationship but the two split a year earlier in 2018, leading Michaels to move on with Minuto the following year. However, the now engaged couple had known each other long before they stepped into a romantic relationship. The two were occasionally spotted on their social media handles together in pictures that can be dated back as early as December 2018.
Before getting engaged to Minuto, Michaels had first gotten engaged to Rhoades in 2015. The fitness instructor, aged 38, and the Body Revolution actress called quits to their engagement from 2015 and their long relationship dating back to nine years. The two share together their two children, daughter Lukensia, aged 11, and son, Phoenix, aged 9.
Sharing their decision to split up, the couple had revealed that they did it for the better of their children and said that they will always love each other regardless of where they stand in life. The author of 6 Keys had shared on her Instagram account, “We’ve found we’re better friends and parents living apart than staying together. Life and people change but our love for one another and commitment to raising our two kids as an inseparable team remains. Thanks for always loving and supporting us, the feeling is mutual!”
Still co-parenting two children, and essentially becoming a single parent, in its own right, is not an easy task in the least. Michaels followed up her single status with an interview about how it can be hectic when raising kids alone and also trying to date people at the same time.
The My Fitness by Jillian Michaels app creator shared, “Life is good. I cannot complain,” she said when addressing a group of reporters at the Stand Up to Cancer Live Broadcast event in September 2018. “I feel like I am going to take a beat on the dating thing. That is a special slice of hell. Heidi remains one of my best friends and co-parents. But the dating thing is like, yeah, that sucks. Wow.”
She also added while talking with the reporters, “I mean, literally, when you have kids, it’s almost impossible to allow other things too, like, f—k with you because they just demand 100 percent of your attention! So, it’s nice. It’s a welcome distraction to kind of get me out of my own head.”
