Johnny Depp returns to the stage.

After Johnny Depp's legal team rested their case with strong closing arguments in front of the jury on Friday, Johnny Depp made a special appearance on stage at a Jeff Beck concert on Sunday. The jury in his ongoing defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard began deliberations began on Friday in the Fairfax County Court in Virginia, but they were unable to make a decision, so they will resume on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp joined Jeff Beck on stage at Sheffield City Hall, England on May 29th, 2022, and the duo performed their 2020 duet "Isolation" for the audience, with Johnny Depp also performing a cover of Marvin Gaye’s "What’s Going On" and Jimi Hendrix’s "Little Wing". Jeff Beck is currently on tour in the United Kingdom, and fans have speculated that Johnny Depp will be joining the performer for his future concerts in London.

Fans were startled as Johnny Depp appeared on stage, but they praised the actor and appreciated him for getting back to what he loves, especially after six long weeks of crucial courtroom time. One of the fans commented that Johnny Depp is an absolute mad man. He left the court Friday and is playing a gig in Sheffield, UK on Sunday with Jeff Beck. Mind Blown. It is not clear whether the actor will be back in the courthouse on Tuesday for the verdict or not.

Back in 2020, when Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp released their version of "Isolation", Jeff Beck said that Johnny and he were working on making new music together for a while, and during that time, they recorded "Isolation" and the audience would get to hear more of them soon.

After Amber Heard penned and published an op-ed in the Washington Post in 2018, Johnny Depp filed a $50M defamation lawsuit against her. Amber Heard characterized herself in the op-ed as a survivor of domestic violence and abuse and mentioned that she is someone who spoke out against domestic violence and faced the culture's wrath. Even though Amber Heard did not mention Johnny Depp’s name in the op-ed, the actor pointed out that the headline, a few lines, and an entire paragraph that were written in the op-ed were enough for the public to speculate who the op-ed was about. He also argued that since the op-ed was published, it went ahead to tarnish Johnny Depp’s reputation and career opportunities, something he had worked hard for. Johnny Depp filed the lawsuit to clear his name for his kids and the world to know that he is not someone who goes on to hit women.

Amber Heard said that the op-ed was not about Johnny, and the only person who thinks it is about Johnny is Johnny himself, before adding that it was about her and what happened to her. But during the rebuttal witness testimony, Amber Heard was heard testifying that she wrote an op-ed against the phenomenon of how many people would come in support of Johnny Depp and say whatever he wanted them to say on the witness stand after Camille Vasquez asked her that she did not expect so many people to come up and speak for Johnny Depp. Hence, Amber Heard countersued Johnny Depp over statements that were made by Johnny Depp’s lawyer Adam Waldman stating that her accusations of being abused were a hoax. Amber Heard also claimed that Johnny Depp went ahead to create a smear campaign against her, which has made her one of the most negative people on the internet and no one wants to work with her.

According to the Virginia law, seven jurors will have to determine whether the statements in Amber Heard's op-ed published in 2018 "imply or hint anything about Johnny Depp" and, if so, "whether they were untrue and/or done with actual malice". They'll also look at Amber Heard's countersuit against Johnny Depp to see if they're both entitled to compensation.

Talking about movies, Amber Heard is all set to appear in Aquaman 2 and as for Johnny Depp, nothing has been confirmed as of now, but some reports suggest that Johnny Depp could be making a return on-screen with "Bettlejuice 2" alongside Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder. Johnny Depp’s fans flooded the social media as they claimed that they recognized the name of the actor on a call sheet found online. There has not been an official announcement, so nothing can be said as of now.
