"TRIGGER WARNING: SEXUAL VIOLENCE"

The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is ongoing at the Fairfax County Court, Virginia after Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018 in which she described herself as a survivor of domestic abuse and violence.

According to Johnny Depp, who was on the stand for four days, the accusations and allegations that Amber Heard had made against him were not true and he was the one who had suffered the abuse at the hands of Amber Heard. Johnny Depp also mentioned that his reputation and career were also put at stake after the op-ed was published. Hence, he needed to take this step to clear his name as the abuser because he was not that and he added that he had never struck Amber Heard or any woman in his life.

Amber Heard returned to the stand on Thursday where she continued to tell the jury and the courtroom about the various incidents where, according to her, Johnny Depp had committed the act of violence against her. She detailed the incident in Australia which took place in 2015 at their rented home while Johnny Depp was filming Pirates 5, and it was the same incident where Johnny Depp’s finger was served.

Amber broke down in the courtroom while detailing how he was yelling at her and telling her that he despised her and that she had wrecked his life. She went on to say that he had her on the counter, by her neck, on top of her, and all she could do was look into his eyes until she couldn't see him any longer. The actress went on to say that she had never been so terrified in her life, but that she was still attempting to communicate with him even though her head was slamming against the back of the bar and she couldn't breathe.

Amber further  revealed that the next thing she remembers is bending over backward on the bar, staring at the blue light. Her back was against the counter, and she could feel pressure on her pubic bone and his arms moving. She went on to say that he appeared to be punching her and that she could feel the strain. Amber couldn't recall what she said, but she did recall not moving and looking around at all the broken bottles and shattered glass, and saying she didn't want to move because she didn't know if the bottle Johnny Depp allegedly placed inside of her was broken or not.

Amber explained that she could not feel it, no pain, anything, and said that she does not remember how she got off the countertop but remembers being in the bathroom and retching. The actress added that she lost control of her bladder and there was blood on the floor. Amber Heard claimed that Johnny Depp had taken 8–10 MDMA pills and accused her of sleeping with The Danish Girl co-star Eddie Redmayne, even though she had previously worked with Billy Bob Thornton. The actress added that Johnny Depp called his agent and a few other people that night and yelled at them, and Amber had a sense that it was about the money, as Johnny Depp had sensed that people were stealing from him.

Amber continued by stating that she remembered coming down to look for him and they had an argument, which, according to the actress, was hard to describe because it did not make sense to her. Amber said that he was screaming and throwing things at her and she realized that she was back on the chopping block. Johnny had her against the wall and slammed her hard, and she hit her head. She pushed him off her and then there was name-calling, she said, and he was squeezing his neck and it got nasty and Amber said that it went to him saying that no one liked her, everyone had warned Johnny about her and he wished he had never married her. The actress said that at one point, she shoved him and he shoved her back, and she was struggling with him, and he threw her across the room and she landed on the game table.

Amber said that Johnny got on top of her and started to whack her and they struggled. After she got a hold of the bottle and slammed it on the ground, Johnny got angry and started screaming. She added that by the time she picked herself off the floor, Johnny had the bottle in his hand and threw it at her. Amber said that Johnny had broken the bottle up against her face and neck area and told her that he’d carve her up. She described that he had her by her nightgown and was throwing bottles at her, and soda cans, and when she tried to leave, he was standing in the only area she could exit.

Amber added that she could feel the glass breaking behind her and was terrified that she couldn’t move. After he ran out of things to throw at her, she ran to the exit, and then they got into this struggle by the bar area. She then described that she remembered her feet slipping on the tiles as he was slamming her from the wall to the countertop, ripping off her nightgown, and flinging her around while he kept screaming at her that he disliked her and that she ruined his life. She said that the next day, when she woke up, she heard Marilyn Manson’s music playing, which she said assured her that Johnny had not slept, and she saw brown writing on the wall that was in dried blood. There was blood on the carpet and brown letters that Johnny wrote for her.

A gigantic penis was painted on a painting, and a table was overturned, according to the actress. She claimed he had his hands wrapped in rags, which he removed or showed her, claiming she forced him to do so.  She subsequently discovered that it was covered in paint and that he was painting with his finger. (By that time, Johnny claims his finger had been served.) She further stated that he got his penis out and began peeing outside the home, with his guards simply looking at him and her and dismissing the incident. Amber went on to say that Johnny returned inside the house and went to pee on the house's wall, claiming that he had additional messages.

The actress added that she found the steak and mashed potatoes she was making last night all over the house, and the steak was cut up, and he ripped her nightgown into pieces and wrapped it up. The court returns on May 16th!
