"TRIGGER WARNING: DOMESTIC VIOLENCE"

After sharing her explosive and emotional testimony of the 2015 Australia incident, Amber Heard continued with her testimony at the Fairfax County Court, Virginia, where she went on to describe that after the former couple reconciled after they returned from Australia, Amber Heard found out that Johnny Depp cheated on her right after their wedding.

Amber Heard shared that Johnny Depp had passed out one day and she had caught him texting another woman he had been seeing at the start of their relationship, and when she checked the dates of the texts, they were dated 2015, roughly around right after the wedding. She said while testifying that after coming back to Los Angeles from the wedding, the next day Johnny Depp went to see this woman and said that he had a sexual relationship with her.

The actress said that she had freaked out after reading the texts and immediately confronted Johnny Depp about it. She added that she did not care if he’d kill her at that moment and said that he had already ripped her heart out. Amber Heard said that she kept yelling at him, calling him names, asking him to leave the house, and shared that at one point they were both screaming at each other and she was really mad at Johnny Depp for cheating on her.

Amber Heard said that Johnny Depp called her a fucking pussy and bolted towards her and had his hand on the back of her hair and was yanking her down and hit her in the face with the cast he had on his finger. She said she remembers a brief struggle between the two of them and her sister Whitney Heard had to intervene to stop the two of them, and then Johnny Depp, according to Amber Heard, took a swing at Whitney Heard and after witnessing it, she swung at him. She said that when Johnny Depp took a swing at her sister, she instantly thought of Kate Moss and the stairs and she took a swing at him.

The Aquaman actress said that all of her relationships with Johnny Depp to date had not landed a blow, and for the first time she hit him square in the face, and he looked stunned and laughed at her and lunged at her again, and the security had to step in between them to pull Johnny Depp away. (Travis McGivern testified in his testimony that he stepped in the middle of a fight between them, but he said that Whitney and Amber instigated it and Johnny Depp was listening to them and Amber had tried to spit on him as well. Starling Jenkins witnessed Amber Heard punching Johnny Depp.) Amber Heard continued and said that Johnny Depp was angry, so he threw her clothing racks down the stairs and tried to destroy everything he could. (Travis McGivern mentioned that Johnny Depp only tried to destroy her clothes and threw them on the racks after Amber Heard spits on him)

Amber Heard mentioned a fight that occurred in December 2015 where the actor had her headbutted and beat her so much that she thought she was going to die. After Johnny Depp headbutted her square in the nose, Amber Heard, said that she felt searing pain and it’s one of the few memories she has of the physical pain and added that Johnny Depp dragged her by the hair into the neighboring apartment, leaving chunks of her hair lying. (Erin Falati also reported that Amber Heard had mentioned to her that she had clumps of her hair missing, which the nurse said that she did not see when she met Amber so urged her to see a professional if that was true.)

Amber Heard said that Johnny Depp was on top of her and repeatedly beat her, trying to hold her with his knees, and kept saying to her that he hated her. She said she remembers herself screaming until she couldn’t hear it and just remembered him sounding like an animal and that he hated her. She added that Johnny Depp kept hitting her over and over again and she kept standing still because she believed that this was how she was going to die. She last said that she did not remember anymore after that until she woke up.

In her testimony, when Amber Heard was talking about flying to see Johnny Depp in Australia in March as he was filming Pirates 5, she witnessed that Johnny had lost a lot of weight, which was unusual for her, and the next morning, according to Amber Heard, Johnny pulled out a bag of MDMA and suggested that they should do it together, which Amber Heard said that she denied because she instantly remembered the first time she did drugs with him.

The actress also told the jury about how Johnny Depp was upset with her for working with James Franco and not telling him. She explained the airplane incident, in which Johnny Depp himself testified that he was drunk and had taken drugs at the time, and she said that he called her go-getter, slut, and as she stood up, he threw things at her like ice cubes, utensils, and called her an embarrassment, and added that he had kicked her in the back and she fell to the floor, and then he passed out in the bathroom, and she recorded it because she knew that Johnny would not remember this.

Pictures of Johnny Depp being passed out were shown in the courtroom, and she said that she took them to tell him that this happened. She added that she understood enough about addiction to know that one has to hit rock bottom and deal with the consequences to get better. She added that it was just her words versus his employees.

Amber Heard shared that Johnny Depp and her father, David Heard, were hooked on the same drugs, and at the engagement party, she witnessed them doing drugs while she attended to the guests downstairs and Johnny had disappeared the entire time. She also testified that the couple tried couples counseling before Johnny Depp stormed off, rolled a joint in the toilet, and left.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will return to court on May 16th for the defamation trial.
