Justin Bieber has announced a tour hiatus to focus on his health.

Justin Bieber took to his social media to announce that he has decided to take a break from touring for the time being to focus on his health issues.

According to Justin Bieber's post, he stated in June of this year that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which left his face mostly paralyzed and prohibited him from completing the Justice Tour's North American leg.

The singer took time off after he canceled the remaining shows of his U.S. tour, but after consulting with medical professionals, family members, and his team, Justin Bieber performed six different shows for the European leg and went on to continue the tour, and recently performed in Brazil. Justin Bieber said that as much as he was excited to be back on stage among the fans and perform for them, he started to find being back on the road exhausting and has decided to pause the ‘Justice’ world tour.

Justin stated that it began to take a toll on him and the past week when he performed at Rock in Rio; he gave everything he had to the people of Brazil, but after getting off stage, exhaustion overtook him, and he realized that he needed to prioritize his mental health right now, so he announced that he will be taking a break from touring for the time being. Justin assured the fans that he would be OK, but he needed time to rest and get better.

The Peaches singer said that he has been so proud to bring the show and their message of justice to the world and thanked everyone for their prayers and support throughout the journey and said he loves them all passionately. The Justice World Tour was initially postponed due to the pandemic, and then after the singer kicked things off in March, he suffered several setbacks, which included his struggle with Ramsay Hunt's diagnosis.

In August, when Justin Bieber kicked off his tour once again and performed at Lucca Festival in Italy, he said a massive thank you to the fans for having him back and mentioned that the show was his first day back and he felt great to be back on-stage. Justin Bieber continued that, as everyone knows, the Justice Tour is about equality and justice for everyone, no matter what they look like, what shape or size, or ethnicity, everyone’s the same and we are all one. Justin thanked his fans once again, stating that they are all here to make a difference and he wants them to know that it means a lot to him that the fans are there to be a part of something that he truly believes in.

Ramsay Hunt syndrome, according to the Mayo Clinic, is brought on by a shingles outbreak that destroys the facial nerve next to one of your ears. Along with the agonizing shingles breakout, Ramsay Hunt syndrome can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear.

There haven't been any updates on the tour's schedule, which was originally scheduled to take Justin Bieber through South America, South Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand until March 2023.
