The American reality series, The Real Housewives of Potomac, has completed six seasons. The show focuses on the etiquette of high-class women based in Potomac. As the sixth season starred Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, Wendy Osefo, and Candiace Dillard, the first season focused on Karen Huger alone and her etiquette.
However, RHOP has not been an instant success. It has evolved over the years to become one of the most successful reality shows in America. The journey of RHOP began back in 2010 as "The Real Housewives of DC,'' but it has been canceled right after one season for various vague reasons. RHOP was initially announced in November 2015 but got delayed to 2016. Although the series has been named Potomac Ensemble, The Real Housewives of Potomac appealed to the creators more than the initial name.
However, none of them proved to be valid. However, Nicki Minaj recently expressed her wish to host the reunion. She also said that she is so much looking forward to it. The comments from the Trinidadian rapper gave rise to a lot of speculations about the possibility of a reunion.
Stars like Andy Cohen, Candiace Dillard, and Karen Huger supported the rapper pushing for the reunion. Karen Huger has taken a step forward to indicate the possibility of Nicki hosting the reunion and admitted that the reunion might happen soon. The validation from Karen Huger herself sent waves of joy across the RHOP fan community.
As the 53-year-old Andy Cohen hinted about Nicki Minaj hosting the reunion, Karen Huger said, “Fingers crossed she will roll through!”
Andy Cohen, the American television and radio talk show host, hosted all the RHOP reunions to date. Andy has been considered an able host time and again for his class behavior while holding the women back from a verbal and physical altercation. But, Karen defends Nicki and says that she would do it equally well. “She has us,” Karen remarked. “We are classy ladies. We are one classy group of women. So the thing is, we would support whoever bestowed their grace upon us…. We don’t know. But I think everyone in this group has the grace to extend to a host like Nicki Minaj,” says Karen.
Everything aside, Nicki has been pretty confident that she will host the reunion and confirmed the news herself on social media.
But when asked for her concluding remarks on Nicki hosting the reunion, Karen skipped the question by saying, “I hope so.” “Let’s keep our fingers crossed! Stay tuned! She’s very genuine. She’s a straight shooter and that’s what I like about Nicki Minaj,” added Karen.
The reunion of RHOP has been a ritual since the show started. So, there is no doubt the reunion will happen, but the real question is who gets to host it. Will it be the able Andy Cohen or the “Queen of rap” Nicki Minaj? Well, the latest happenings are pointing at the possibility of Nicki Minaj. Still, we may have to wait and see how it turns out.
