Kate Hudson talks about ex-husband Chris Robinson.

Kate Hudson recently spoke about her ex-husband Chris Robinson on the You're Doing Fine... Just Keep Going podcast, hosted by Erin and Sara Foster.

Kate Hudson stated that when she was 20 years old, she met her ex-husband Chris Robinson and announced that she would marry him, noting that her decision may have seemed unbelievable to outsiders, but it is perfectly reasonable given her personality. People thought she was spontaneous because she liked to jump into the deep end of just about everything she did, but it was more like she was about to dive right in.

The actress asserted that she will not second-guess her judgment because she is completely in love with him and does not wish to pretend that they should wait, stating that she is madly in love with him and she desires to marry him, so she did not think twice. Kate asserted that she is still like that, albeit with a bit more experience.

During the interview, Kate Hudson mentioned that Chris Robinson taught her how to be wholeheartedly loved, even though their relationship became complex and difficult. She went on to say that she did think it was the most significant time of their lives and that they adored each other.

Chris Robinson married Kate Hudson on New Year's Eve 2000, and the couple separated in 2007. The former couple's only child is Ryder Hudson, a 19-year-old son. She also has an 11-year-old son, Bingham Bellamy, with ex-husband Matt Bellamy, as well as a 4-year-old daughter, Rani Rose Fujikawa, with present fiancé Danny Fujikawa.

During the podcast interview with Erin and Sara Foster, Kate Hudson also mentioned her meeting with her now fiancé Danny Fujikawa while she was pregnant with Ryder Hudson, noting that Danny was a high school junior who hung out with their group of friends. Of course, things didn't get romantic until many years later, when Danny Fujikawa decided to invite her on a hike, according to Kate. She didn't suspect her prospective love had romantic intentions until she noticed he was nervous.

The actress tried to explain that there was something in Danny that was so legitimate that she could tell he just wanted to see her, so he was nervous, and she was like, the hike is a date. And all Kate said that she had to do was wrap her head around it, and by the end of the hike, she was like, he's so great, so gentle, lovable, and simple, and she assumed to herself that she is ready for a guy like that, who genuinely likes her, and their relationship could work out.

Kate also stated that having Ryder in her 20s is very different from having Rani since she feels she is far more fully present at the moment with Ryder compared to when she has Rani, now noting that her twenties were distinct because she had also planning to travel all the time, so Ryder was with her everywhere she went. He had no structure like there was no teaching environment in which he was all the time, and it was just constant movement, and now Ryder's had to figure that one out, even though it has its charm, and he has a wholly distinct set of things that will be very distinct from Rani, and Bing is also more structured. He was more organized.

Kate Hudson told The Sunday Times in November 2022 that she has three children from three different fathers. She stated that while it may not appear traditional on the outside, she believes they are killing it on the inside, adding that perhaps the unit she has formed with three children from three different fathers is super strong, and it is theirs. The actress spoke to Laura Wasser on her 'Divorce Sucks' podcast in 2019 that she was very lucky to have partners in her life and that everyone was in a different circumstance, that they were able to figure it out. Kate further stated that she does feel like when people get divorced, they are still in a relationship but it's just different.
