Kate Hudson talks about the most talked-about "Nepo Babies" controversy.

Kate Hudson becomes the latest celebrity to speak up on the Nepo Babies controversy. The controversial New York magazine article titled "Year of the Nepo-Baby" that was published last week included Kate Hudson as well, along with Maude Apatow, Dakota Johnson, Jack Quaid, Zoe Kravitz, and Ben Platt, and now she has her thoughts to share.

In an interview with The Independent, the actor and director, the daughter of Goldie Hawn and Bill Hudson, and stepfather Kurt Russell asserted that she wants to believe nepotism takes place far more commonly outside of the entertainment business than within it and that there are additional sectors where it is more common, potentially modeling.

Kate stated that she sees it far more in company or organization than in Hollywood, characterizing how she has been in business meetings where she has wondered, "Whose kid is this?" or "This individual understands nothing." She stated that it does not matter where anyone comes from or what links they have in the company or organization; if they are hardworking people and devoted, they will succeed.

The "Glass Onion" star went on to say that when she starts to look at her children, she can see that they all descend from a line of storytellers, and it's in their blood. She also stated that individuals can call it anything they want, but it will not alter. Kate Hudson stated that when she first began her professional career, she would "always attempt to shift the subject" when asked about her parents since she wanted to establish her career.

She went on to say that after about a decade, she came to the realization it didn't even matter. Kate Hudson shares three kids: a son born in 2004 with Chris Robinson (of The Black Crowes), a son born in 2011 with Matt Bellamy (of Muse), and a daughter born in 2018 with folk-rocker Danny Fujikawa, with whom she announced her engagement in 2021.

Kate Hudson stated during the discussion that her only issue with cancel culture is that it upsets the youth of today. They are unsure whether what they are about to say will be received either negatively or positively, so they choose to say nothing. She believes they can create some space for the millennial population to find their way.

Jamie Lee Curtis, the daughter of Tony Curtis and Janie Leigh, recently discussed her thoughts on the subject, making reference to herself as the "OG Nepo Baby" and claiming that perhaps the current discussion about nepotism in Hollywood is only intended to downplay, delegitimize, and upset. She went on to say that she's been working since the age of 19 years old, and even after 44 years, she is reminded daily that she is the daughter of well-known and successful parents.

Jamie Lee stated that she has navigated 44 years with the benefits that her affiliated and deserved stardom has brought her, and she does not falsely claim that there are no individuals who attempt to tell her she has no value of her own. The actress expressed her fascination with how people instantly make presumptions and sarcastic remarks that somebody related to someone else who is popular in their field for their art has no talent at all.

She continued to say that she has managed to learn that is simply not the case and that she has dressed up and shown up for all types of jobs with thousands of people, and that every day she has tried to bring honesty, competence, and a positive attitude, love of community, and art to her work, and she has reminded people that she is not the only one.

O'Shea Jackson Jr., the child of rap artist Ice Cube, also expressed his opposition to the term on social networks, writing on Twitter that he needed to get his a$$ up and succeed in the roles he chose, as well as the determination to succeed he put into them. He also asserted that because of his professional competence on sets and promotional tours, he left HIS organization to create his team. O'Shea concluded that once the door was unlocked, it was up to him to walk through and thrive.
