Marvel Studios Wandavision star Kathryn Hahn says that she didn’t even know the title of her upcoming Disney+ series until it was officially announced by the studio itself in public because the studio decided to not reveal her the detail in order to keep the secret intact and avoid it from leaking out, Marvel is well known for this kind behavior with it stars as it allows the studio in keeping its important details regarding its project intact, especially the case with Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo and Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, both of them famous for giving spoilers of MCU projects ahead of their release as Marvel fans would recall how Holland and Ruffalo on various instances in 2019 came close to disclosing various important details regarding Russo brothers helmed Avengers Endgame because of the lack of control on his mouth.

After starring in the role of Agatha Harkness in Elizabeth Olsen’s and Paul Bettany’s led blockbuster Wanadvision show, released earlier this year, seeing the increasing popularity and success that her Marvel hero was able to achieve through the superhit show, the masterminds at the studio played smartly to capture the hype around her character, decided to give the green light to brand new series named Agatha: House of Harkness, playing out as a spin-off to Wandavision in MCU with special focus on Agatha Harkness and her journey in evolving what she is, a powerful witch and a friend and teacher of Wanda Maximoff.

Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show Hahn discussed about her Marvel show and also addressed the possibility, if the much-talked supervillain Mephisto, who was rumored to make his appearance in Wandavison but ultimately could not, will be seen in her upcoming Marvel series or not, Mephisto’s debut in MCU has been a topic of interest for Marvel fans as they see him as someone who can definitely challenge the might of Olsen’s Wanda.

"I mean, I didn’t even know the title of the show until it was released to the public, like they keep it so tight," Hahn said, explaining that she herself was kept in dark when it come to revealing any kind detail about her show by the studio to avoid the detail from leaking ahead of the time, in this case, it is with disclosing a minute detail as a series title.

"I keep hearing that. I have no idea. That was like a big thing during WandaVision, but I have no, who knows. I mean, I think right now, like anything, like Marvel, I mean who knows it’s anything is probably possible, but like, I have never heard anything definitive about that at all," she replied, talking about Mephisto’s appearance and the fact that she has no idea of what the studio has planned as far as the Disney+ series is concerned, when asked if the supervillain is someone who could be seen in her MCU show after he failed to appear in Wandavison, even though several source and rumors suggested such a thing.

Barrymore: "If you could pass anyone as Mephisto, who would you pick if you are in the driver’s seat, and you know, Agatha gets to pick her Mephisto, would there ever be anyone who fits the bill?"

Hahn answered, instead of speaking about Mephisto, took the discussion the other way around, describing what really makes her character stand out as a performer, is her attributes like complicated and misunderstood. "I mean, I’ll say, in terms of a real great deflection of that question is that, there is something that does feel so badass to be playing like, you know, we think of a witch, and you think of, immediately, you think of a woman who is loud, who is mysterious, who is dangerous, because she’s complicated and she’s misunderstood. And all that stuff is a real turn-on to me as a performer in terms of digging into this person a little bit more, very excited."

As of now, apart from Kathryn Hahn in the role of Agatha Harkness, Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed who are the other stars that the fans could expect in the show. Agatha: House of Harkness, serving as a spin-off and like all other Marvel shows and films, will be a part of the larger MCU world.
