Keanu Reeves Reveals He Went To See John Wick: Chapter 3 In Theaters To Confirm If The Fans Are Even Loving It

The Matrix film series leading actor Keanu Reeves, who is definitely one of the biggest names in the current era of the US-based film industry Hollywood because of his brilliant performances in films like The Devil’s Advocate released in 1997, followed by The Matrix released in 1999, and in the popular and successful franchise distributed under the banner of Lionsgate John wick, while having a recent conversation with Esquire recalled how he went to see his latest addition in the John Wick franchise John Wick: Chapter 3— Parabellum in theatres by himself just to confirm if the audiences are even loving the action-thriller or not.

“I didn’t know if I was going to get the chance to do another one, and I just wanted to see if people liked it. It was cool when people started laughing during the knife fight in the opening. [Laughs] I went with a friend. I was like, ‘Let’s go see John Wick 3 before it goes.’ I love John Wick movies! They’re fun! I wanted to be with an audience because I didn’t know if I would get to see it again, or if another one would happen. I wanted to soak it in, to see it on the big screen—these movies are made for the big screen. We got popcorn—you gotta have popcorn. Some Peanut M&M’s. Sweet and savory. Coca-Cola,” Keanu Reeves said to Esquire, revealing that he himself went to theatres to watch his 2019’s blockbuster after its debut just to confirm if the fans and followers are loving it or not because of his uncertainty if he will even get another chance to also star in the fourth installment in the superhit franchise.

Directed by 53-year-old American filmmaker Chad Stahelski, who previously worked in films like The Expendables 2, Ninja Assassin, and The Matrix franchise Keanu Reeves’ John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum was released in theatres on 17th May 2019, with the plot carrying the story from its predecessor, where the legendary hitman assassin finds himself in big trouble as he gets stuck with a $14 bounty on his head after he guns down a member of the High Table. The film turned out to be a massive success for the studio as it was able to earn over a whopping $325 million at the box office around the world as opposed to its production budget of just $75 million. Along with Keanu Reeves in the titular role of the assassin, the movie also featured other names such as Halle Berry in the role of Sofia Al-Azwar, Ian McShane in the role of Winston, Laurence Fishburne in the role of "The Bowery King," Mark Dacascos in the role of  Zero, Asia Kate Dillon in the role of "The Adjudicator," Lance Reddick in the role of  Charon, Segal in the role of Earl, Anjelica Huston in the role of  "The Director.”

The 57-year-old Keanu Reeves will also be appearing in the role of Thomas Anderson also known as Neo in the next month releasing science fiction, The Matrix Resurrections, to take the fans through the journey of protagonist Neo, exploring the world of the Matrix.
