Zoë Isabella Kravitz, daughter of musician-actor Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet is an American actress, singer, and model, made her acting debut with a romantic comedy ‘No Reservations’ in 2007. She has been a part of critically acclaimed movies like X Men: First Class, Mad Max: Fury Road, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Divergent Series. Zoë voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie in 2017.

After two years of marriage, ‘Big Little Lies', star Zoe Kravitz, filed for a divorce from her spouse Karl Glusman on December 23, 2020. A close Kravitz representative confirmed the couple’s split. In August 2021, the couple's divorce was finalized.

Zoë and Karl began dating in October 2016, became engaged in 2018, and married in June 2019 at Lenny Kravitz's Paris residence. The news that the pair were divorcing shocked many people, including several in the industry because the couple had just celebrated their first wedding anniversary just months before Zoë filed for divorce.

During a recent interview and cover photoshoot for Another Magazine, Zoë Kravitz opened up about her separation and how ‘sad’ and ‘beautiful’ experience it was. She mentioned, "I got married. I got divorced. Separations, breakups are sad but are beautiful things too. It's about the bitter sweetness, that beginning and that end. It's so complex, that space, when you're in between heartbroken and mourning the loss of something and excited for what's ahead of you."

The 32-year-old actress is recognized for her excellent looks and down-to-earth demeanor, and she has always been honest about her feelings, which is one of the reasons she has been the face of Saint Laurent across beauty, scent, and fashion for nearly four years. Zoë describes Saint Laurent’s apparel as “simple and beautiful”.

Zoë revealed that she turned to music to soothe or express her emotions, and she began working on her solo album with Jack Antonoff. She calls working with Jack on her solo album 'therapeutic,' and says the album was written over a long period. The singer-actress-model shared that her solo album captures the ‘range of emotions that she found interesting to look back on'.

The actress is also working on her directorial debut, ‘Pussy Island,' which she said she has been writing for four years and that she wants to be very careful about how she talks about it and what information she gives out because the plot has many layers.

Zoë, who also appeared in ‘Fantastic Beasts,' revealed that she began developing the script for Pussy Island while filming Fantastic Beasts because she had a ‘reasonable amount of time off'. She also stated that she was frustrated and angry with men, "particularly in my field," and that she believed the conversations were not taking place in a way that was appropriate for the occasion.

The actress from "High Fidelity" went on to say that when Harvey Weinstein's scandal broke, it transformed and upset the entire globe, and Zoë’s story and imagination shifted from what was going on at the moment.

She described writing a film as a "crazy journey"  that she adores and can't wait to see come to life. Naomi Ackie has joined the cast of Pussy Island, and Zoë considers herself fortunate to have her on board. Filming for the film will begin at the end of this year or early next year. (If rumors are to be believed Channing Tatum could be starring in the movie too.)

Zoë recently concluded a film with Steven Soderbergh called "Kimi," which she says is "a pretty fucking fantastic movie." She'll be seen as Cat Woman in the upcoming Batman film alongside Robert Pattison, and the news that she'd been cast went viral the day it was finalized.

When asked how she got the part, Zoe revealed that her agent called her and told her that she was one of the performers the producers were looking for, and she immediately flew to LA to meet the director, Matt Reeves to see if they were on the same page or not.

When performers are offered such crucial and large roles, they want to give it their all, and if they don't get it, it's upsetting because so much effort has gone into it, she shared. The actress, who shot to fame after starring in the HBO series "Big Little Lies,” where she played Bonnie Carlson, wanted the filmmaker to know what it's like to work with her.

“Matt’s a fantastic director, and he’s really into talking about the character. We had some really good conversations. I had some thoughts about the character once I’d read the script too and they were welcomed,” she added. Fans of the DC universe are die-hard, and Zoë says she respects them for their love and support, but she didn't want to think about them when she filmed for the role.

She added that she believes she will never be able to bring the character to life if she is constantly concentrating on being liked by the comic fans, and she wants to justify the role she is playing. The actress went on to say that filmmaker Matt wrote a compelling story with complicated characters and compelling connections, and she wants to honor that story.

Asking about her preparation for the role, Zoë revealed that she had to be in a very certain shape for the role of Cat woman because she had to be in a zipped catsuit from 7 a.m. and work 12 hours a day. It was intense, but Matt is quite particular about what he desires.

The actress, who shares screen time with Robert Pattison as Batman, revealed that the filming of the project was pushed back a year because of the pandemic, but it always felt like a true heart and soul and care was put into every moment.

In her interview, Zoë shared that as an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and Black Lives Matter, there have been moments when she felt pressured to post something that she wasn't ready to post or didn't know enough about. The feeling of being pressurized makes one believe that if you don’t post about something, it means you don’t care about it influenced her.

She added, “That’s conflicting for me because sometimes I don’t have enough information and need to learn more, or I don’t want to be on my phone today and something’s going on in the world. I’ll get a lot of hate for not talking about something, and I’m like, “I’m not a fucking news anchor.” Also, just because I don’t post on this thing it does not mean that I’m not feeling it or learning about it. My silence doesn’t mean I’m taking a side. The internet is not the real world.”

In August 2021, it was announced that Zoë would not only star but serve as executive producers on the coming-of-age animated series “Phatty Patty” which is being bankrolled by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's Westbrook Studios.

When Zoë was seen with actor Channing Tatum earlier this summer, rumors of the two attractive actors dating began to circulate. 'They have a nice and flirty chemistry,' according to one person. Even though they walked the red carpet separately, the two were later photographed departing together to attend the after-party at the MET GALA 2021 on September 13th, 2021. Some sources also claim that the duo are working on a project together which is why they have been spending time together.
