While the fans got to see what they have been waiting for years a crossover between the fan-favorite superhero Spiderman and anti-hero Venom in the post-credit scene of Sony Pictures newly released superhero blockbuster Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Marvel President Kevin Feige during the premiere of Marvel Studios The Eternals finally opened up about the much-anticipated post-credit scene.

"There was a lot of coordination — and if you don't know all the coordination yet, I'm not going to be the one to tell you — but yes, between Sony and Marvel and the 'Venom' team and the 'No Way Home' team. We worked together on it," he said.

The post-credit scene of the film showed Tom Hardy's Eddie and Venom watching television while resting in bed with, later on, Venom revealing that "80 billion light-years of hive knowledge across universes would explode your tiny little brain," the gnarled voice of Venom says, offering his human host a taste of "just the smallest fraction of the things we symbiotes have experienced."

Things take a turn when the room suddenly changes, implying that the duo now is in another universe. The fans in the end part of the post-credit scene get to see J. Jonah Jameson exposing Peter Parker also known as Spider-Man on the television with Eddie suddenly merging with Venom as the symbiote recognizes Spiderman's face showing on the television.

While the fans can now watch the film as it is currently playing theatres but the film director Andy Serkis has already revealed if they could expect his return as the director for the sequel of Venom 2. "Oh, for sure, without question. It's just been one of those joyful jobs where, like I said, just working with great talent, working with amazing ideas. To work with Bob Richardson again, it's the second time I've worked with him on a movie, who is just brilliant as a cinematographer on this, blending the reality with the very unforgiving designs of Carnage and Venom and making them seamlessly come together. So yeah, of course, I would. And Sheena Duggal, the visual effects supervisor. She was incredible to work with as well. She'd worked on the first movie," he said.

So yeah, what's not to like? Kelly Marcel and Thomas taking firm control of the story and writing the scripts in the way that they've done and just... It's been great, so yeah," he continued.

During the same interview, Serkis also talked about the appearance of Spiderman in the film. "Wow. I know everyone is desperate for Venom to meet Spider-Man. I know that. But I think there's real mileage in some of the other supervillains that reside in Ravencroft. There's such fertile ground to be uncovered there. That would be the sandbox I'd be really interested in playing. Who's lurking in there that could break out?"

With the film taking its inspiration from Marvel Comics, where Spiderman's arch-enemy Venom makes his appearance, it is produced under the banner of Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Studios and Tencent Pictures with the distribution under Sony Pictures.

Andy Serkis joins Venom: Let There Be Carnage, as the director along with Tom Hardy in the role of Venom also known as Eddie Brock, Michelle Williams in the role of Anne Weying, Naomie Harris In the role of Frances Barrison, Stephen Graham in the role of Mulligan, Reid Scott in the role of Dan Lewis and films main villain Woody Harrelson in the role of Cletus Kasady also known as Carnage.
