Kevin McHale talks about "The Price of Glee."

Glee alum Kevin McHale, who played Artie Abrams on the show, is now talking about the "The Price of Glee" documentary’s trailer. The trailer for Investigation Discovery's documentary series "The Price of Glee" was released recently, and it is expected to take viewers behind the scenes of the show while also focusing on the deaths of its lead actors Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, and Mark Salling. It has also been said that they are going to include interviews from people who were close to the cast and not the actual cast.

The debate over whether the show's main characters are also entangled with the series was settled by quoting a tweet from a user who asserted that the show's cast and crew are engaged in the production of the documentary series. Kevin quoted the post on twitter and stated that the user could perhaps show him the cast and that this is trash.

The tweet Kevin quoted that the ID was not attempting to compare Naya and Cory to Mark or trying to draw any parallels beyond the fact that they were all part of the same show. Kevin continued by stating that this was a nice version for the record and that he shouldn't really be pressed to say a word about the docuseries again.

The three-part series is going to center around the highs and lows of the show, including a look at the sudden deaths of the three actors in the show. Cory Monteith, who played Fin Hudson, Naya Rivera, who played Santana Lopez, and Mark Salling, who played Noah Puckerman, all appeared on the show.

While people remembered the show, Glee's lasting impression on popular culture, and its unparalleled success over the years, Jason Salinas, President of Crime and Investigative Content, Linear and Streaming, stated in a declaration that The Price of Glee will look at the immense stress that the cast and crew went through while filming the show and it eventually leads to the horrific events that happened with them. The horrific tragedies are a reference to the deaths of the actors.

Previously, Kevin McHale had mentioned during a conversation with InTouch that he and Jenna Ushkowitz would not like to comment on the document series, but they would correct inaccuracies if shown in the series if they felt the need to. Kevin further said that they do not necessarily wish to give something more attention than it maybe deserves or needs, so they will see, and clarified that none of the actual cast has anything to do with the show.

Jenna Ushkowitz, who played Tina Cohen-Chang on the show, told Buzzfeed that they are choosing to look at the good memories that they have created and experienced while filming the show, and that’s the joy the show brought to them and people around the world. She added that in terms of the Discovery+ documentary, it feels even more important, to her at least, to do the podcast because they were the ones who were there at the time, noting that they were the ones experiencing this. And clearly, only they know what happened. Jenna mentioned that for her, it feels more pertinent to be the one to share their experience when people are sharing experiences that they did not even have. She referred to the podcast that she and Kevin McHale host, titled "And That’s What You REALLY Missed."

Back in August, actress Becca Tobic, who played Kitty Wilde, shared on Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino that there's someone out there frantically trying to put something together docudrama or a tell-all or something, and also who keeps reaching the cast incessantly. This, according to Becca, explains why it will never happen. It makes no difference what occurred on that set.

It's all about the family at the end of the day. It's like a big dysfunctional relationship with a lot of loyalty, she explained adding that such as mob mentality. She doesn't care how much she disliked this individual who works where she is. There is something in her blood that makes her hate someone so much, but she doesn't hate them enough. She doesn't detest that person enough to do that.

Chord Overstreet, who played Sam Evans on the show, appeared for an interview on The Elvis Duran Show and said that he thinks that anybody who knows anything about that show and has experienced it does not have anything to do with the document series as far as he knows. He added that they are close and pretty much like a family, and nobody knows anything about that. Chord claimed that it appears to be a tabloid ploy to sell something.
