Kristen Stewart has finally landed herself the most desired acting award ever, but the actress shared that she does not "give a sh--" about her nomination. Nevertheless, she has decided to show up for the awards show and, of course, looked dazzling in her best fit for the day. The actress recently grabbed the Best Oscar nomination for her latest film Spencer.

The actress cut a stunning figure in her pink wardrobe choice for the day as she made an appearance on the award show. Her outfit choice of the night was a gorgeous gown in pink. The column gown by August Getty Atelier surely made the actress stand out from the crowd, which she rocked at the Gotham Awards at Cipriani's Wall Street in New York City.

The dress was styled by Stewart by brushing up her hair into an impressive bun, shaped like a bow. Her makeup look consisted of a killer cat eye paired with a nude lip shade, giving all the attention to her glorious eyes. The whole look definitely set off a retro vibe, which the actress pulled of magnificently with relative ease. The dress also debuted a slit down the front of the gown, out of which peeked Stewart's footwear choice of the night. The actress had chosen to pair off her pink column gown with neon pink sandals to match.

It was Stewart's fabulous portrayal of Princess Diana in Spencer that has finally led the actress to receive her nomination for the Oscar awards. Critically acclaimed by critics from around the globe and by royal experts, Stewart managed to impress an audience that has already seen a plethora of content based on the Lady of Wales. This past decade has brought forward many films, series, and musicals, some better, others worse, showing the life of the Princess of People, but no one managed to reach the level of sophistication Stewart reached with her character portrayal.

Hence, the actress received the Best Actress Oscar nomination, making it her first-ever nomination for the Academy Awards. Recently, the Awards Circuit podcast by Variety asked Stewart about the general excitement her film Spencer has created, especially with her being nominated. The actress said that "I don’t give a shit."

Of course, the statement comes as a big shock, but the actress said, “The Oscars are such a funny thing,” as she added, “There are so many incredible movies and performances that barely get seen. It definitely says something about where we’re at as a cumulative presence—what we’re looking at, what we care about. I really appreciate that something that I was involved in has ignited such a large conversation. We don’t make movies to not connect with each other.”

But this is not the only time she shared some of her thoughts about her role as an actress. Keeping Spencer in viewpoint, the actress has answered many questions so nonchalantly that it almost becomes obvious that media and paparazzi are a bit too interested in other people's lives. Just recently, the actress spoke her mind when she was asked questions that did not apply to her.

In the "Spencer" press tour, she revealed that constantly being hounded by questions about her private life is something that happened to the Lady of Wales, Princess Diana, a lot. The royal was constantly followed by the camera asking questions that should not have been given words in the first place. Sharing how she could relate to Diana in that particular case, the actress also drew attention to the fact that the meddlesome character of media also laid to so many issues in Diana's personal and professional life.

Once, a media spokesperson talked about Stewart relating to Diana, saying, “I’m running out of time, but I wanted to ask this last question, Kristen. The paparazzi and media had such an appetite for Diana. I’m sure you can relate to that. Filming this movie, have you changed the way you live your life at all?”

But Stewart's reply made sense as Diana, though being a public figure was not an actress. Hence, Stewart said, “No. We have completely different occupations, and I think I’ve talked a lot about that. So considering you have no more time, Google that shit. I’m done.”

But it is not only the media that has been paying immense attention to Stewart's portrayal of the character, with the additional reason that the role is of Lady Diana to whom the press always pays attention. The film, being directed by Jacki, an Oscar nominee, also added to the popularity of the movie. In fact, the princess's own bodyguard came forward to appreciate Kristen Stewart.

“Out of all the people who have played Diana over the past 10 years, she’s the closest to her,” said Ken Wharfe when talking about the actress and added, “She managed to perfect her mannerisms.” Ken Wharfe was the former royal righthand man who served the lady from 1989 to 1993. He was employed as Princess Diana's personal bodyguard and recently shared his thoughts about the film with People magazine.
