Kristen Stewart got the ring on the finger!

The Twilight star and her screenwriter girlfriend, Dylan Meyer, are engaged after two years of dating. The actress told Howard Stern that she and her fiance will soon get married, but now it seems like it wouldn't be as soon as fans want it to.

Talking about wanting to marry her girlfriend, Stewart shared, "We're marrying. We're totally gonna do it." Talking about wanting to be proposed to, Stewart shared on The Howard Stern Show at SiriusXM, "I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. We're marrying. It's happening."

The couple was seen together earlier in May this year, holding hands. Around the same time, Meyer had shared that she will be moving out of her home of 10 years. The screenwriter had written about her big shift on Instagram, saying, "This spot felt like a true palace to me, even though it was basically a pile of sticks scotch-taped together. This was the place where I really grew up... We filled that place with unbelievable quantities of love."

The couple shares a dog together, which was featured on Meyer's sweet little tribute to Stewart on her 31st birthday. The writer wrote: "Life sure is sweeter with this cute little family. Happy birthday, kiddo. You knock my socks off."

The couple has, however, been in talks of getting married for a while, and now, Stewart is readier than ever. Last year Stewart told Stern that she couldn't "f--king wait" to get married and also said, "I think good things happen fast." Now, a year later, the good news has finally rolled in.

Stewart also shared that she was ready with a big proposal plan but teased with saying that she wouldn't reveal the details in case Meyer was listening. She told Howard Stern back in 2019, "I have a couple of plans that are, like, just the coolest things to do. It's pretty undeniable." She even shared that the Moxie writer is her 'the One' and revealed, "When you know, you know. You know what I mean?" The Charlie's Angel actress added, "There is nothing like feeling sure about anything because we don't know anything. And that is the only thing you can feel like you know, is that if you're in love with someone."

When asked about how the couple met for the first time, Stewart shared that they had met on a movie set eight years ago but only formed a connection about two years ago. She was surprised to not have known Meyer this long as she relayed, "She rocked up at a friend's birthday, and I was like, ‘Where have you been and how have I not known you?'"

Stewart was so smitten she said the three magical words to Meyer in a "s--tty bar" and said she was done for when she fell for the writer. "Her friends were there or whatever. They walked out, and I was just like, ‘Aw man, I'm so f--king in love with you.' Like, done," she continued.

The couple first made headlines when Kristen Stewart and Stella Maxwell broke up, and Stewart was said to have moved on with Dylan Meyer. A source of E! News shared, "Kristen is spending time with Dylan and very happy about it. She was seeing Stella for a little bit while it worked, but now she has moved on with Dylan."

Speaking on similar lines of Kristen being totally smitten with Dylan in a week, the insider shared, "Kristen isn't holding back at all and loves being with her. They are moving quickly and always together." The Spencer star first made headlines back in 2013 when she had broken up with co-star Robert Pattinson who was her cast member from their Twilight fame days.

Going back and talking about her previous flames, the Snowhite and The Huntsman star had shared that she "wanted" to marry Pattinson when she was with him. She also revealed, "I'm not a super-duper traditionalist, but at the same time...every relationship I've ever been in, I thought that was it. I've never really been the most casual person."

Now, Kristen has finally found someone who is worth marrying and shared her sweet impromptu moment when she realized that she loved Dylan. She said, "The first time I told her that I loved her, it was like really late, and we were in some sh--ty bar, and her friends were there, or whatever, and they like walked out, and I was just like, 'Oh man, I'm so f--king in love with you.' Like, done."

Then Dylan called Kristen "family" in an Instagram post, and it was almost solidified that the couple would now move a notch further. Now that they are engaged, the couple could marry soon, but Kristen had shared that she would like to wait out the pandemic scares. "I don't want to have COVID even be a thing," Kristen had said to E! News.

She also shared, "I want it to be pretty chill. I don't want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. We're just going to like stand and do vows and f--king party after. It's kind of just a great excuse to get together and say 'I love you in front of all your friends."

The actress revealed another hilarious aspect of her dream wedding as she continued, "The food is the biggest deal. I don’t care about flowers, and sh-t like that. The food needs to be on point," and then added, "I want to wear the best pair of Levi’s ever and, like, an old T-shirt that has a tuxedo printed on it, but like cut-off and barefoot. I want to get married in, like, Topanga. I want to be chilling. I want it to be very homey. I want to see her laugh hysterically when she sees me in, like, a faux tuxedo T-shirt."
