Lala Kent and Katie Maloney are enjoying their single lives.
During the Give Them Lala x Shopify event, Vanderpump Rules stars Lala Kent recently discussed how they are embracing the single life in an interview with People magazine. When Lala Kent said she was enjoying being alone, Katie Maloney, who had just finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Tom Schwartz, has joined her.
Katie Maloney announced in March that after 12 years of togetherness, Tom Schwartz and she had decided to go their separate ways and clarified that the decision was made without any animosity or hostility between them. They settled their divorce in September 2022 and it has been known that the former couple are cordial with each other and will be seen on the upcoming season of the reality show as well and had mentioned in her post that there are no sides to pick for anyone.
Lala Kent said they are having the nicest time talking on the phone every morning about the boys they are talking to and the ones they think they will break up with, and they said they just love being single together. Lala, who has always had a partner since she first stepped foot in SUR in Season 4, stated that she enjoys having a partner in crime now and that she has no immediate intentions to get married since she doesn't want to inherit anyone else's baggage. Lala Kent shares a one-year-old daughter, Ocean with her ex-Randall Emmett and is focused on raising her the right way with love and care.
The podcast show host said that just because her previous relationship had a bitter end, that in no way means that she does not believe in love, but at any given moment, her daughter Ocean is her person and she is on Lala’s mind 24/7. Lala said during the Give Them Lala x Shopify event that her daughter is the first person she thinks about when she thinks about dating a person or going out because she believes that the person is not just going to enter her world but her daughter’s too, and being a part of hers and her daughter’s lives is a complete luxury that is just not given to anybody.
Talking about Katie Maloney’s ex-husband Tom Schwartz, Lala Kent said that after Tom Schwartz decided to hang out with her ex, Randall Emmett, he was the first person she wanted to cut out of her life. Lala Kent, with whom Lala Kent shares her daughter, said that their relationship is always going to be tricky since he is the father of her daughter, but she clarified that they keep their communication to the very minimum. Lala said that Randall does whatever he does and she is busy doing her thing, and they only talk about Ocean, which is quick and simple.
It was reported earlier that Lala Kent and Ambry Childers, who is Randall Emmett’s ex-wife, are now on good terms and they have each other’s backs and are supportive of each other. During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Lala Kent shared that her split from Randall Emmett made her reconsider the preconceived notions about Ambry Childers and said that she feels that their road was very bumpy and she understands why, but she has a lot of compassion for her, adding that she is a great woman and a great mom. Lala said that Ambry Childers was the best thing that happened to Randall Emmett. Following a Nashville hotel snapshot of Randall Emmett with two other ladies in October 2021, Lala Kent ended their relationship. Since then, the host of the podcast has accused her ex-fiance of having many affairs with other women, a charge he has never acknowledged in public.
The reality TV star that is now gearing up for season 10 of Vanderpump Rules said that she has not met her ex, Randall Emmett, since the day she left him and she wants to forever keep things that way. She earlier teased that the upcoming season of the reality show is going to be insane and explained that they are not 23 anymore, they are not going to shake things off the way they used to, plus people are getting married, divorced, and children are being involved, so much for the audience to look forward to.
It was also known that Lala Kent would not be portraying herself as a mother on Vanderpump Rules season 10 because her ex Randall Emmett forbade her from showcasing Ocean's face on the reality series. According to Randall's agent, the movie producer believes that his daughter's privacy and well-being come first and that having a storyline on a reality program is not in her best interests. Lala recognized the situation by stating that it was alright because she preferred to keep that aspect of her life private.
