Louis Tomlinson is a proud member of "One Direction".

Former One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson, recently cleared the air about the bad blood or beef between him and his former band mates, including Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne.

During an interview with The Project, an Australian Talk Show, Louis Tomlinson was asked if there was any "beef" or "bad blood" between the boys of the band, which went on to be a massive success at the time but is currently on hiatus as they all pursue their solo careers, which Louis clarified that as much as he is proud to be of the band, he is certain that Liam Payne is too.

Louis Tomlinson said to the host Pete Helliar that he was fishing for the beef, which recently stirred up conversations among the people about the band once again after Liam Payne criticized former bandmate Zayn Malik in June during a podcast interview with Logan Paul. Louis Tomlinson said that he is immensely proud of the band and the days he was in the band, adding that as far as he knows, Liam Payne is too. Louis continued that it was an incredible thing for them to do, especially when all of them were starting to grow up.

Louis went on to say that he has some incredible memories with the band and that he is more than happy to talk about his One Direction days in every interview, and that talking about the band is still a source of pride for him. The singer clarified that it’s just when the host mentioned the beef before, it sounded like they were trying to stir some shit up when there was nothing as such. He also talked about how great he feels to be back on-stage and the crowd has been incredible.

The hosts asked him if he felt any difference between playing solo and playing in a band to which he said that it's exciting to play solo but it also comes with challenges. Louis Tomlinson said that tour has taught him a lot and he is now focused on making his kind of music and added that although he is now making his kind of music but he is immensely proud of the music they made in One Direction.

The question of 'beef' comes after Liam Payne made certain statement related to the band while talking to Logan Paul which definitely did not sit right with the fans and after he received backlash, he did try to clarify what he said but the apology did not seem like an apology to the Directioners.

During the interview, Louis Tomlinson, who is on his solo world tour, was asked about his second solo album. The singer said that it was coming soon and teased his fans by stating that he is pretty done with the record and is excited for everyone to hear it soon. In one of his previous interviews, Louis mentioned that he penciled down a plan before the pandemic took over, and the lockdown helped him to figure out what he wanted things to sound like. Louis had mentioned that he was immensely proud of his debut record, but there were moments where he felt that were truer to him than others.

The singer was also asked about the recent announcement of his former band-mate Harry Styles getting a Texas State University course dedicated to him and was asked if he ever thought that it should have been him rather than Harry Styles, to which Louis Tomlinson replied that he has no interest in having a course about him.

Harry Styles will be covered in the course at Texas State University called Harry Styles and the Cult of Celebrity: Identity, the Internet, and European Pop Culture, which will begin in the spring 2023 semester, according to Louie Dean Valencia, associate professor of digital history at Texas State. According to the description of the course, it will cover topics like the cultural and political evolution of the contemporary celebrity in relation to issues like gender and sexuality, race, class, nationalism, and globalism, as well as media, fashion, fan culture, internet culture, and consumerism.

The lecturer claimed that during the last two years, he has had several talks with students, all of which began with a common appreciation of Harry Styles' music before swiftly moving on to more significant social issues including gender, sexuality, racism, gun control, and sustainability. The professor concluded by saying that they would like the next generation to know and realize that self-expression and being at ease with oneself are important parts of Harry's message, along with treating people with kindness.
