Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, who met during the filming of their movie ‘Midnight in the Switchgrass’, are smitten by each other and recently appeared in their first British GQ magazine photoshoot as a couple for the Autumn/Winter issue. The stylish pictures were clicked by Daniella Midenge and Nicola Formichetti was the fashion director, while Hunter Clem was the styling head for the shoot. The couple is already regarded as one of the stylish and edgy couples currently in the industry.

During an exclusive interview with GQ, the couple gave each other tattoos that say, "The darkest fairy tale". The interviewer describes Colson Baker as a handsome 6ft 4in punk with white-blond hair and is covered in tattoos. Megan Fox, an actress, is the most beautiful woman in the world.

According to Megan Fox, the couple met in 2020 while shooting for their movie "Midnight in the Switchgrass", but they met briefly a few years ago at a GQ party in LA, which clearly both of them do not remember. Megan describes it, "I don’t remember your face. I just remember this tall, blond, ghostly creature and I looked up, and I was like, "You smell like weed." He looked down at me, and he was like, "I am a weed." Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja in a smoke bomb".

Megan and Colson shared that they both knew that they were falling for each other, but she wasn’t looking for love. Megan added," I was open to love, but I did not anticipate walking right into my soul mate like that. I was obviously over the way I had been living, and those paths lined up, those doors opened. It was [as if] all the obstacles that had kept us apart all those years [had been removed] and we were able to finally intersect."

In describing their first date, Megan shared that MGK picked her up in a 1974 Cadillac convertible, and they listened to Ella Fitzgerald. The couple drove up to a canyon’s edge, where Colson shared that he had a friend waiting with a picnic set up for them with a thousand red roses. Megan and Colson shared that the two drove down to Roxy Theater at Sunset Boulevard, which was apparently closed and the two, "played pop-punk and made out".

During the interview, Machine Gun Kelly was asked if he had ever been in love. To which he said, just because you have been around the world and experienced so much shit, one might think that they know everything, but then they are in the arms of their destiny and realize, "I don’t know shit yet." Megan adds that she feels like she has finally found someone who gets her, "I think I had either put myself in or allowed other people to put me in, this weird box that didn’t quite fit me, where I hadn’t lived my own life as myself for a long time – the parts of me that were always eccentric or strange and didn’t belong within my family unit or Hollywood.".

Megan rose to fame when she was cast in the 'Transformers', in which she not only gained popularity but also became a sex symbol who sparked a public debate about the sexualization of actresses, a conversation that made her into a symbol and spiraled far away from her actual personhood. Taking her time to understand the situations in the industry, Megan describes that she has finally started to feel comfortable in whom she has always been deep down; a star who doesn’t fit neatly into boxes and doesn’t back down from their convictions. Megan believes that there is nothing shameful about wanting to find that kind of deep, all-encompassing love.

Talking about his love for Megan, Machine Gun Kelly explains that the actress has given him the inspiration that he needs to complete his music. "It’s almost like she reconnected a wire in my brain. Creativity won’t stop coming out", he says. It is no doubt that the couple is known for encouraging each other’s artistic ventures, trying to bring out the best in each other. The two appeared in Machine Gun Kelly's song 'Bloody Valentine'. The rapper said, "I couldn’t express myself the right way to her, so I brought her a song. It says everything. It’s the simplest guitar line with the purest form of how one could feel about another person and representing how they love each other."

Machine Gun Kelly further mentioned that he has never witnessed the kind of love that he and Megan have because of his past. He explained, "I came from broken homes and I watched love never work. Then I grew up, wherein pop culture they don’t even make romantic movies anymore. It hurts my soul that I wasted 30 years of my life not having any desire. Dude, I was down to die. I was good. I was like, "All right, get the music out there. That’ll hold me down." You know, my daughter is the best extension of me, and she’s going to be better than I am. And I’ve seen some shit, so I’m good to go."

The rapper added that getting famous amplified some of his demons especially since he comes from an environment of poverty and a dysfunctional family. The couple revealed that they are very clear that they are not with each other to fix each other but have found the will to fight through the darkness. Machine Gun Kelly shared that he had a lot of friends who committed suicide, and love was the only reason he stayed.

Questions shifted to Megan, where she was asked about how she felt about the recent media re-evaluation of the way she was mistreated in her career, to which she replied that she has thought about that a lot. To be clear, Megan took a significant amount of time off from the limelight, as she was never spotted leaving the house. She went on a spiritual quest, reading constantly and practicing meditation. She adds, "‘I’ve done everything you can do to try to make sense of that. Because it’s easy when you go through something like that to feel like a victim. That’s your first instinct and response, but that doesn’t serve you and that makes life miserable, living life as a victim."

Megan Fox said that at a point in her life, she just wanted to make peace with the past and move on. She explained, "I did a lot of work to remove that feeling of being a victim and to realize that it was a lesson. So there was purpose in it and I didn’t have to suffer anymore. It's [made me] a much more interesting human being than I would have been otherwise."

During the interview, Megan Fox revealed that she has body dysmorphia, which is a mental health condition in which individual worries about their physical appearance a lot. She also shared that she has a lot of deep insecurities, whereas Machine Gun Kelly revealed that he has postpartum depression from his difficult upbringing and drug issues, and he is well aware that he has an artist’s temperament which is tough to live with.

"I’m trying to live without dying quickly every day",  MGK says, adding that his lady love inspires him to work on his issues and actually try to be open about them with his fans. The smitten rapper shared that he wants to be as grounded as Megan, but he is not there yet. He has the utmost respect for Megan as a person because she has helped him realize that he cannot bury his trauma, but rather deal with it healthily and positively.

Megan describes their relationship as ‘very intense’ and says that ‘Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away.’ ‘It’s ecstasy and agony for sure... I don’t want people to think anything’s perfect with us. I didn’t say it was the darkest fairy tale for no reason. God help you if you would’ve met us last Saturday".

The two have been very vocal about how they are both spontaneous and excited about doing things with each other, and their trip to Bora Bora was one of the examples. Machine Gun Kelly added that he feels extremely grateful that Megan Fox got to see him perform live on-stage at a festival in Florida after the pandemic restrictions were lifted. "It was weird to do a year in a relationship where I was like, "I swear to God, I have a job. I swear to God, I’m cool. You will see one of these days what I do'", he added.

Colson Baker might be able to work on being his best self with the help of Megan Fox, but says that Machine Gun Kelly isn’t changing, "I am still a motherfucking outlaw." No wonder why these two have managed to capture the attention of the audience and paparazzi so much.
