Marvel Studios, after a long time, has finally dropped a new trailer for the upcoming superhero epic The Eternals. The superhero-based franchise revealed the brand new trailer on Sunday, featuring an array of actors such as Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Ma Dong-Seok, Lia McHugh, Barry Keoghan, and Kit Harington.

The trailer is full of action scenes such as Korean actor superhero character Gigamesh punching the Deviant and Richard Madden using his laser beam on Angelina Jolie's sword. The fans also get to see several of the superheroes using their superpowers for the first time.

The film is set before any Marvel Cinematic Universe film the fans ever got to see as revealed by Kumnail Nanjiani. He said, "way, way, way back." He added, "It's really, really exciting," Nanjiani further added, "It's a lot different than the other Marvel movies we've seen. It's a lot more cosmic." "It really is about the beginnings of the Marvel universe, so we're telling a story...he [Kevin Feige] says spans thousands of years," the 52-year-old actor continues. "Before, you know, Captain America was the oldest member we've seen and now, it's going to be way, way, way back so it really is going to be the building blocks of the MCU."

The film is potentially 156 minutes longer as claimed by a Russian source.

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Chloe Zhao is responsible for directing the superhero film with Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo, and Kaz Firpo as the screenplay writer and production by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo are also in charge of writing the film's story. Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures is responsible for the distribution of the film.

Recently, Zhao while attending a promotional event of the film shared some important insights about the film.

She said, "The audience will understand why, but how complicated not interfering made them feel. We explore that. You'll see that in the film. The Eternals were instructed not to interfere with any human conflict unless Deviants are involved. There's a reason why that's the case. And that was the instruction from the prime Celestial Arishem."

"What excited me is the idea of going back in time, and exploring [the time] before Thanos was born, before anyone was born." She continued, "Where does the MCU go back in time? And that brings us to the mythology of the Celestials. Anything involving the Celestials is going to be at a huge scale level of complication, let's put it that way."

The complete list of actors Marvel Studios The Eternals features are Salma Hayek in the role of Ajak, Angelina Jolie in the role of Thena along with Brian Tyree Henry in the role Phastos, Richard Madden in the role Ikaris, Gemma Chan in the role Sersi, Lauren Ridloff in the role of Makkari, Lia McHugh in the role of Sprite, Kumail Nanjiani in the role of Kingo, Barry Keoghan in the role of Druig, Don Lee in the role of Gilgamesh, Kit Harrington in the role of Dane Whitman with additional actors such as Harish Patel, Haaz Steiman as Phastos' husband, Ozer Ercan as a smuggler and Zain Al Rafeea in an unknown role.
