Ben Affleck has a big blended family with his former and former girlfriend, with whom he rekindled his romance in the past year. Apart from both his lady loves also sharing the name Jennifer, they both also happen to be baby mamas, giving rise to a big blended family.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner had separated back in 2015, and while the two have split up for good, they share three children, two daughters, Violet and Seraphina, and son Samuel. The two have essentially managed the task of co-parenting and come together to raise their children together. The couple had married in 2005 and had their split finalized in 2018.

While the two are not together now, they share a lot of mutual respect for each other. Back on Mother's Day in 2021, the actor had written for Jennifer Garner, “So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world." He added, “Thanks for all the good you do. Happy Mother’s Day. Love, their Dad.”

Violet is the first child Jennifer and Ben had together and were born the same year the couple had come together. Taking strongly after her mother both in looks and personality.

A source told In Touch Weekly that the young lady “not only is identical to Jen, they share similar personality traits, too, like their passion for cooking. Violet is a real mommy’s girl.”

Just like all elder siblings, Violet is fierce when it comes to protecting her younger sister and brother. Jennifer told People, “Violet’s extremely protective of Seraphina and Samuel and really watches out for them. She’s extremely mature for her age.”

The second daughter in the Garner-Affleck house was born in 2009. The little lady has a passion for beauty and likes her nails done, and can also be seen accompanying her mother to shop for groceries or when taking a stroll. Seraphina is elder to Samuel. “They squabble at times like all siblings, but generally speaking, they get on,” shared an insider.

The source also revealed, “Seraphina is adorable and super outgoing. She has more of a mischievous streak than the other two and is incredibly close to Ben.”

The youngest child of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner is Samuel Affleck, who was born in February 2022. The baby boy of the family "used to be quietest, but he’s beginning to come out of his shell,” as revealed by a source. “He looks up to his older sisters.” The kiddo is close to his father and is pretty athletic.

Apart from being on the swim team in his school, he also plays basketball. Ben had gushed about his son's skill with the basketball to Ellen DeGeneres on her show, and said, “I’m a coach on the Little League team, and it’s going great." He added, "He's awesome. It’s a lot of fun. The kids are great kids. I do have to wear a Dodgers hat because that is the team, but you know … ” Ben is, however, a famous Boston Red Sox. While the parents are positively hooked to their kids, the little children are not the most eager fans of their parents.

Last year on December 14, Ben had told Extra, “The thing about the holidays that’s particularly rewarding is the time you get to spend with your kids, the family time.” He continued, “There is no more beautiful feeling than to see your children experience joy.”

Of course, fans must believe that his children are particularly enchanted by his on-screen acting. Yet the actor shared a sentiment most parents can relate to. All kids are united in thinking that their parents really are not the coolest and the Affleck children are no exception. When asked if Ben is a star for his kids, he said, “You might think so, but you would be wrong. I don’t think I’m that cool anyway, but whoever you are, if you’re somebody’s parent, you’re not cool to somebody in the world. … That’s part of life. You realize there’s something kind of healthy about embarrassing your kids.”

Just like all kids, his children, too, have a different perception of what's trending than good old parents. So when Ben tries to revive their interest in the traditional means of playing music on the radio, they say, "‘We don’t listen to the radio. What’s a radio?’”

Sharing his reasons for separating from former wife Jennifer Garner, the actor had said, “It is somebody I love and respect, but to whom I should not be married any longer. … We tried because we had kids. Both of us felt like, ‘We don’t want this to be the model that our kids see of marriage.’”

But apart from his children with Garner, Ben Affleck is also part of a blended family with Jennifer Lopez. The two can usually be seen taking their respective kids for outings together, which has ranged from shopping, theme studios, and more. The actor celebrated the Christmas holidays with J Lo and her children, twins Max and Emme, aged 13, whom she shares with her former husband, Marc Anthony. "It was a pretty quiet holiday for them. They really enjoyed it after a busy fall," revealed a source.

J Lo and Affleck had dated for a while before the actor had moved on with Garner, but after the Garner-Affleck split, he and Lopez found themselves back with each other. People close to the couple share that the two "are in it for the long run" this time.

Back in 2021, Affleck and Lopez had come together to celebrate Halloween with Jennifer Garner and all their children in Malibu. The trio had joined their kids for trick-or-treating adventures around the neighborhood. An insider shared, "Everyone gets along, and the focus is always on the kids. Jennifer, Ben, and Jen Garner all wanted the kids to have an amazing Halloween. The kids are friends and wanted to go trick-or-treating together. It made sense that they all went together."
