Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, just shared a picture of son Archie, and he looks exactly like his royal dad Prince Harry. The toddler looks uncannily like Prince Harry and the resemblance has made people fawn over the little kid in awe!

The Duchess of Sussex shared a picture of her first child, son, aged 2, while she was conversing with the TV host from The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The Suits alum fished out a photo of Archie on the November 18, Thursday episode of the show. While the picture does not show little Archie's face, the resemblance is pretty easy to figure out from his red hair that rivals his father's in the intensity of color. The photo shows the toddler taking a leisurely stroll in the couple's California home overlooking their chicken coop.

Ellen Degeneres gushed, “He’s so sweet with the chickens, too,” as she admired the picture. The TV host is a close neighbor of the Sussexes. “Archie is just such a gentle soul,” said the Duchess and carried on to tell that Archie really likes dancing. The kid also debuts in a children's book, The Bench.

The book was written by the Suits alum to honor her husband, Prince Harry, aged 37, and other dads. The actress said that Archie recognizes himself from the book and exclaimed with joy, “On that first page, you open and you see our dogs, and he goes, ‘That’s Pula! That’s Guy!'” referring to their family pets.

The couple had welcomed home their first child in May 2019, a year after they had married in the royal chapels. About a year after the birth of their son Archie, the actress and her former military husband shifted to North America in March 2020. They also retired from their royal duties. Hence, the couple took leave of the royal family to live in America, where Markle gave birth to their second child, daughter Lilibet in June.

Sharing how delighted the couple was to welcome their second child, they announced, "On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

Talking about parenthood and welcoming their second child into the world, Meghan shared, “Someone told Harry and I: ‘When you have one kid, it’s a hobby, and two children is parenting.'” She said, “Suddenly we realized, ‘Oh, right.’ Everyone talks about what it’s like for the second child, but no one talks about the adjustment for the first child when the second one comes along. I think they have this moment of, ‘Oh, this is fun. Oh, this how it is now.'”

However, welcoming home Lily was not quite as difficult a task as they first thought because big brother Archie turned out to be a very doting elder brother. The toddler adores his younger sister, and shared an insider the month of Lilibet's birth. They added, “Archie absolutely adores his little sister and gives her lots of kisses. He’s held her with the help of his parents.” Most elder siblings might relate to being scared when the younger one rolled in, but the insider said that Archie does not have to face this. They said the boy is “such a kind, loving child and there aren’t any jealousy issues'' where his sister is concerned.

The social activist, Meghan Markle, now also speaks about advocating paid family leave for everyone as they juggle their personal life and career. Sharing how "overwhelmed" she is after becoming a mother to two kids, she said, “No family should have to choose between earning a living and having the freedom to take care of their child (or a loved one, or themselves, as we would see with a comprehensive paid leave plan).”

Her letter, which she wrote in her October letter to U.S. Congress a renewed paid leave plan, also included: “In taking care of your child, you take care of your community, and you take care of your country — because when paid leave is a right, we’re creating a foundation that helps address mental health outcomes, health care costs, and economic strength at the starting line. … This is about putting families above politics.”

The adorable family had dressed Archie as a dinosaur for the spooky season this year. Meghan told, "We wanted to do something fun for the kids, and then the kids were just not into it at all. Archie was a dinosaur for maybe five minutes. Not even five minutes." It was Prince Harry who could finally convince the young lad to dress up for the occasion, as Ellen revealed later!
