American singer-songwriter and the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away last week after she suffered a cardiac arrest, and now her ex-husband Michael Lockwood has addressed the loss.
In a statement to People magazine, Michael Lockwood said that they are all struggling to recover from the untimely loss of Lisa Marie Presley, with whom he shared twin daughters Harper and Grace, and added that nothing helps prepare anybody at all for such an unforeseen tragedy, which has been inexplicable.
Michael Lockwood continued by stating that the most crucial thing to him at the time was taking good care of their daughters and making sure they always experience a life that is cherished and safe along with that the two of them have an amazing spirit and will carry on their family heritage for the rest of their lives.
Michael stated that he has been dedicated to Harper and Finely since the moment they were born, and he has asked for privacy during this extremely difficult time. Lockwood's attorney told ET on Thursday that the guitar player is concentrating on their 14-year-old twin daughters, Harper and Finley, in the aftereffects of their mother's death.
Michael Lockwood's attorney, Joe Yanny, stated that Michael had hoped for Lisa Marie's quick and complete recovery after learning that she was taken to the hospital because her children required her. Unfortunately, that isn't the case. He continued by stating that Michael's world had been flipped around. He is presently together with both of his daughters.

According to the source, he acquired primary custody the moment Lisa Marie died and will do what it takes to protect it. There wasn't any back-and-forth communication between her ex-husband Danny, with whom she was living under the same roof at the time of her death, and Michael. They also stated that the girls and Priscilla are spending their time together right now. They are going to spend all of their time with Michael, attempting to keep as much normalcy as possible in the absence of their mother. Priscilla is going above and beyond for her grandchildren. She is there for those girls during this difficult time, according to the source. Right now, no one wants bad blood. They don't want to go through any additional pain. It has nothing to do with territory. Michael has been doing his best to deal with it. Michael's highest priority is the girls. All anyone wants is for the girls to smile.
