Midnight Mass Storyline:

Midnight mass attracts a lot of inspiration and is quite spiritual as it is based on the concepts of faith and religion. The storyline is quite different when compared to that of Haunting of Bly Manor.

A small island named "Crockett," isolated from the entire world, welcomes a priest and a troublemaker. The priest also brings a lot of happiness and is responsible for various miracles occurring on the Island. One day the priest makes a handicapped girl stand on her legs. People suffering from back pain now no longer have to experience it because it is cured. Is it the beginning of heavenly days for the people of Crockett Island, or is the priest planning something sinister?

On Rotten Tomatoes, the show has received impressive ratings of 95% and 8.7/10 with a good number of positive reviews from the critics. The haunting of hill house and the haunting of Bly Manor have received 93% & 8.4/10 and 87% & 7.4/10 respectively.

Here are some of the interesting reviews you can read from top critics.

1) Bloody Disgusting:

The movie is quite thrilling, and heartbreaking and the selection of the cast for the show was magnanimous. The horror context of the movie is uniquely interpreted with religious facts and spiritual beliefs.

2) TIME Magazine:

According to the review of TIME Magazine Mike Flanagan, the movie is quite surprising and the cleanest movie by the director. TIME Magazine stated that "Midnight Mass is his best one yet at the end of the interview."

3) Radio Times:

Critics from Radio Times didn't find the series quite fearful as it was expected compared with the likes of Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor. The movie is rather a unique type of horror-thriller associated with the spiritual beliefs of fans.

Well, the spiritual approach of the movie is one of the prominent reasons behind the less-pleasing nature of the movie. On the other hand, the overall storyline of Midnight Mass is amazing.
