Mila admitted, during her show’s Hot Ones spicy wings challenges, that the actor was downplaying it. She added, "He was dumb. He also only ate grapes at one point. It's so stupid. We ended up in the hospital, twice, with pancreatitis. So, fact check, yes, it was really dumb."

In 2013, in the process of Ashton Kutcher portraying the role of Apple founder, Steve Jobs in the movie "Jobs" went into method acting and as a part of getting into the character was taking on Steve Jobs’ strict fruitarian diet. Ashton consumed a large amount of carrot juice and found himself suffering from extreme back pain. Steve Jobs would only consume a few specific fruits at a time, because of his neuroendocrine cancer.

In 2019, Ashton Kutcher appeared on Hot Ones and shared, "Two weeks before we started shooting, all of a sudden I had this pain in my back and through the night it got worse and worse and worse and worse. I ended up in the hospital on the maximum dose of Dilaudid because my pancreas was crazy out of whack. And then I'm getting freaked out, like ‘This is the ghost of Steve Jobs taking over my pancreas,' and I'm freaking out, and it turns out it was the carrot juice causing this crazy pancreatitis."

Ashton finally said, "Don't drink too much carrot juice. That's the moral of the story." The actor also stated on Hot Ones that he had 'purged' all of his trucker hats and wardrobe items from his era on That 70s Show, but Mila Kunis flat-out denied that, glancing at her husband off-camera.

"What are you talking about? You didn't get rid of anything! You have plenty of trucker hats and the entire 70s wardrobe is downstairs. What is this?", Mila Kunis said. Ashton Kutcher was heard from backstage saying, 'Who are you talking to?' as Kunis laughed and continued the interview.

Mila Kunis was recently featured on Ellen Degeneres' web series Mom Confessions, where she recalled a moment when she and Ashton differed about what advice to offer her daughter after she was bullied at school. "Well, here's a story that's about to get me in trouble. There was a little kid in my kid's preschool that wasn't very kind and pushed my daughter ... My daughter came back and was like, 'Such and such little kiddo pushed me,' and I instinctually said, 'Did you push her back?' And my daughter's like, 'No!".

"You push her back, and you say, 'No, thank you,' and you walk away," Mila said to her daughter. However, Ashton was present at the time, and Mila explained that she turned around to see him reacting as she was speaking. "I turned around and saw Ashton's expression, and he was like, 'No!'" she said, imitating his firm shaking of the head.
