Misha Collins has clarified the rumors.

During his appearance at Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural official fan convention in Secaucus, New Jersey, Supernatural star Misha Collins used a statement which insinuated that he had come out as bisexual but now the actor is clarifying is stance.

Misha Collins, during the convention, asked the fans about how many of them would consider themselves introverted, extroverts, or bisexual before adding that he’s all three. The actor who swiftly changed the topic addressed the audience and said that it would have been weird if he'd just asked to see how many bisexuals are in the audience but he'd rather do it as a questionnaire, that’s more socially acceptable.

Misha has recently taken to his social media to clarify that he is not 'bisexual' but rather straight. The actor went ahead to apologize for his clumsy statement used at the convention which speculated that it was his coming-out moment. He added that although he is straight he is a fierce ally of the LGBTQ community and the last thing that he would want is to falsely co-opt the struggles of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Misha continued and mentioned that he believes and fully supports the thought that people need to sanctify the human right to express their identities honestly and to be free to love whoever they want to. He concluded the post by stating that he is deeply sorry to have hurt anyone but he is still learning, trying to do better, and will keep listening.

Misha Collins appeared as angel Castiel in Supernatural’s season four in 2008 and is one of the most loved characters on the show. He made his last appearance in the show in season fifteen. In one of his previous interviews, Misha Collins mentioned that when he signed up for the role of Castiel, he thought that the role was going to be a one-time appearance, but Castiel went on to be one of the longest-standing characters on the show, coming out as "gay" in the final season of the show.

Misha said that he had never done a show like Supernatural and he had not watched the show, did not know what the tone of the show was, and thought that his character, Castiel, was going to make a guest appearance on the show, but who would have thought that he was going to be a long-standing character on the show? Supernatural also features Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as monster-hunting brothers in the show that was created by Eric Kripke.

The actor shared with Subjectify Media about his character on the show coming out as gay in the final season while he was promoting the audio version of his poetry book, "Some Things I Still Can’t Tell You," and mentioned that he likes that Cass is a queer icon and he feels proud of him and his journey on the show. Misha added that he feels honored that so many people around the world have found something in Castiel’s journey that resonates with them, and that means a lot to him.

Talking about the ending of his character he said, according to him, Castiel's ending on the show was something that he had always imagined and he was very happy with the way it turned out to be. Misha added that he was curious to see how the audience would respond to Cas' death as it felt important because he had made such an impactful mark on the show not only in terms of mythology but also as a messenger for the greater world the particular moment in history. The actor added that he is very proud and happy with the ending.

Talking about how Castiel came out, fans have always assumed that Cass was somewhat always in love with Dean Winchester, and there were signs, but in the finale season, when he sacrifices himself for Dean, Castile says, "I Love You." Some of the fans assumed that it was sort of a confirmation that he was in love with him, but some argued that it seemed like platonic love. Misha clarified and said it was a homosexual declaration of love.

Misha Collins is all set to appear in the upcoming show on The CW, "Gotham Knights," as the Batman villain, Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face. The actor said during an interview that if the CW's Gotham Knights’ pilot gets selected and is turned into a series, then he would be his character Harvey Dent for a whole year. Misha is excited about the new projects and is thrilled for the audience to see him.

Gotham Knights do not have a release date yet but are said to take place after the death of Batman. Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent are expected to team up with the children of Batman’s other enemies who are suspected of taking down the Caped Crusader. Misha Collins is going to be the eldest in the cast, which includes teenage actors.
