When a basic police investigation fails to untangle the murder mystery and the culprit behind it, then the case moves into Dr. Temperance Brennan's hands. She is a clever forensic expert who pinpoints even a little evidence that assists in finding the culprit.

The "Bones" plot looks like just average police procedural like CSI, where Emily Deschanel, as the Doctor, analyzes the body parts deeply. It becomes hard to study the same with simple techniques. But, it surely holds more than what you see.

David Boreanaz, as Seeley Booth, joins in as an FBI agent during the investigation. During the hustle, they are both involved in some kissing too. They resolved several mysteries throughout the 12 seasons, one of which was dissipated by Brennan's parents. They hunted down many dangerous murders. While Bones is a long series, it surely deserves rewatching. That's because there are certain things that all the viewers have missed during the first time.

One of them can be seen in season 5, "The Dwarf in the Dirt," with a special appearance of Dan Castellaneta as a whimsical policeman. He is a famous voice artist that provides his voice to Homer Simpson.

After visiting Jeffersonian, where Ryan Cartwright as Mr. Nigel Murray stands at the x-ray frontier of Homer's head, it shows a slightly shrunk brain than cranium. This x-ray has been there for all 12 seasons.

Also, after the separation of T. J Thyne as Hodgins and Michaela Colin as Angela, the ex-lover Roxie returns to Angela's life during the murder inquiry. Watchers had no idea earlier that Angela was, in fact, a homosexual.

The storyline of the series is all about FBI investigations, chasing murders, and resolving the case. However, it got involved in some metaphysical stuff too.

After reviewing the show, people will notice the culprits experiencing something unnatural several times. Also, one of the episodes (The Ghost in the Machine) is based on the spirit of a patient.

While these are just a few points, watch the full seasons again to know more about what you have missed.
