One of the most popular television shows which created a lot of buzz with it's unique advertising campaigns all across the social media, Money Heist, has come into controversy with people calling for its total boycott. The famous series has found itself in major conflict after citizens from Middle Eastern Countries demanded a boycott of the ever-popular show. With the stars having a special affinity for Israelis and their land and two of the stars even visiting the Jewish state, the show has fallen into big problem!

The controversy started when in an interview with Mark at the premiere of the show the star cast praised the country of Israel and even complimented the country and its security establishment. When actor Darko Peric who plays the role of "Helsinki" a leading star of the show was asked about his trip to Israel he said, "It was a wonderful experience, and I hope to come back. I know there are a lot of fans here, and the people here are great. When people travel to Israel they always talk about the strict security arrangements and meticulous police activity. But when I got here, even the policemen wanted to take pictures with me. It was great." When asked by other costars Spanish-Armenian actor Houvik Keuchkerian who plays the role the popular role of "Bogota", the actor replied saying, "heard wonderful things about Israel."

The actors on the social media platforms were heavily criticized for their comments in the interview with online activists and keyboard warriors coming together and calling for a boycott of the Netflix series. Activist and social media commentators even went as far as IMDB, an online database platform for movies, television shows, and much more to post critical statements against the stars for their to Israel.

Money Heist's story revolves around a criminal mastermind named "The Professor" who has a plan to pull off the biggest heist in human history and to print billions of euros to Spain to continue this big plan he asks help from eight people with certain ability and have nothing to fear and lose in their life The fifth of the famous show will be the final season with no sequels planned. The show will be released into two parts, Volume 1 and Volume 2.
