Naomi Judd’s autopsy reports are revealed.

The autopsy records of Grammy-winning vocalist Naomi Judd, who passed unexpectedly in April, according to reports from the Williamson County, Tennessee, Medical Examiner's Office, show that she suffered from anxiety, depression, and bipolar illness in addition to other diseases. It was determined that she had self-inflicted gunshot wounds when she passed away.

The renowned singer also left a "suicide note," which was discovered next to her body along with the weapon, according to the 13-page autopsy report. According to Naomi Judd's toxicology findings, she was taking several prescribed medication for depression, and a gunshot wound to the head was recorded as the reason for her death. Her mode of death was also listed as suicide. The major goal of the report was to formally identify Naomi Judd's cause of death as a suicide, even though that had never been in question. The official death certificate said that she had been shot close to her right temple.

The autopsy on Naomi Judd's body was carried out the next day of her passing away, and it was the day when "The Judds," the late singer's band with her daughter Wynonna, was supposed to be honored in the Country Music Hall of Fame. They had always shared their family's pleasures and sorrows honestly, according to a statement made at the time. Ashley Judd and Wynonna Judd announced on social media that they had lost their lovely mother to the illness of mental illness. They continued by saying they were attempting to navigate profound grief and knew that people loved her in the same way they did. They concluded by saying they felt shattered. On Good Morning America, Ashley Judd also made an appearance in a recorded interview. She admitted that she had discovered her mother's body in her room and that Naomi Judd had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She continued by saying that she has suffered pain and sadness as a result of being discovered.

According to reports, Naomi's family members petitioned the judge in Nashville's court to seal the police recordings and reports that were produced when Naomi's death was being investigated. According to the family members, the family would suffer severe pain and irreversible harm if the police reports and recordings were made public. Larry Strickland, the widower of Naomi Judd, also stated in the petition that he did not realize he was being filmed when speaking to the authorities, and as a result, he disclosed sensitive and private information that he would very much prefer to keep out of the public view.

In a statement included with the appeal, Ashley Judd claimed that throughout her interactions with investigators, she had been experiencing "clinical shock, active trauma, and severe suffering." She continued by saying that she did not want any images, sounds, or videos to ever be permanently in the public domain since it would torment their family for many years. The hearing for the lawsuit is tentatively scheduled on September 12.
