Nate Moore, after serving for years at Marvel Studios as the producer for several of its blockbusters which includes Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, The Falcon, and The Winter Soldier, and the newest addition in the superhero-based franchise, Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Eternals, which has its focus on the immortal beings known by the same name Eternals.

Moore while having a recent conversation on ComicBook.com's Phase Zero podcast, spoke about the fourth Cap film in which Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson is set to play the titular role of Captain America as the fans got to see that the actor stepped in the role of the Star-Spangled Men in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier after he was passed down the mantle of the fan-favorite Marvel character in studios 2019’s blockbuster Avengers: Endgame. The Marvel producer also went to tease the fans with the plot of the much-awaited movie.

"So, we're going to put him through the wringer and make him earn it, and see what happens when he is outweighed, outclassed, out-everything. What makes somebody Captain America? I'm going to argue it's not being a super-soldier. And I think we're going to prove that with Mackie and Sam Wilson," Moore told ComicBook.com, touching upon the plot details of the not soo much talked Captain America 4 because as of now the studio is pretty hesitating when it comes down to revealing anything related to the film.

He added, further elaborating on Mackie’s character Sam Wilson’s arc in the movie and how different would thing be playing out for him as he is now the man with the shield, who alone holds the responsibility of protecting the earth from evil forces as the Avengers for the time being are not present. "I think, he's not Steve Rogers and I think that's a good thing... Because to me, this new Cap is Rocky. He's going to be the underdog in any situation. He's not a super-soldier. He's not a hundred years old. He doesn't have the Avengers. What happens with this guy who announces publicly kind of, without the support, 'I'm new Captain America.' What happens next? I think is fascinating because he's a guy. He's a guy with wings and a shield, but he is a guy.”

A sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, the development of the film started in April of this year as reported by The Hollywood Reporter with Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson selected to pen the script. Except Anthony Mackie's casting there has been no update in regards to other cast members of Captain America 4.
