Stephanie Nicole Gracia Colace is a retired professional WWE wrestler who is popularly known as Nikki Bella and has shared details of why she and fiancé Artem Chigvintsev have put their wedding plans on hold. Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev got engaged in November 2019 after making their relationship official in July 2019.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nikki Bella shared that the couple planned to get married in the fall, but they decided to postpone the wedding because of COVID-19 travel restrictions. Nikki said, "The one promise I made [to Chigvintsev] before we could plan is that his parents could attend. And with where the world at right now, and trying to get two Russian parents into the country, it's almost impossible. So the day I can get two visas is the day we will set our date and say, "I do." I think last year I said Thanksgiving, right? And I want to say next Thanksgiving".
The former wrestler said that she can’t believe that it’s been a year, but she genuinely wants to get married and added that, selfishly, she just wants to live her big and special day and cannot wait to wear her wedding dress. Nikki Bella added, "I do want to marry Artem."
Nikki also explained that even though they don’t have a date set for the wedding, she knows exactly what she wants her special day to be. "Napa Valley, for sure. I'd have amazing wine and just think of the decor you get to bring in... the most beautiful reds and deepest dark reds. I just have this whole vision, "Nikki added.
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev have a son together, 16-month old Matteo, and during her interview, she mentioned that even though their plans to get married are on hold, the couple has not ruled out the possibility of welcoming baby number 2. She said, "At the rate I'm going, maybe I'll never get married." But this is what I told Artem: "At 39, if I'm happy where I'm at in life, and with you, and you're still in my life, I may get pregnant, and let's try to have that baby before 40. But hey, if not, I'm sorry, she is closed. "
Nikki Bella met Artem Chigvintsev in 2017 during her time on a reality show, Dancing With the Stars, and the two reconnected when Nikki Bella and John Cena, called off their engagement in 2018. The stunning couple made their relationship official in July 2019 and were engaged by November.
The television personality had previously opened up about her wedding plans on an episode of "The Bellas Podcast," where she explained that their wedding was postponed due to travel restrictions. During the podcast, she said, "A few of the venues were like, 'We're available.' And what we just started saying is, "We're so busy every day, and we completely remodeled the inside of our home. We haven't even lived in it yet, and we're doing the outside, and that takes so much work. We're still not even done designing. And so he and I were just like, "Let's get through the house. If it happens, it happens". During her podcast interview, Nikki shared that the couple did go through some "rough" patches in their relationship as they tried to balance their long-distance relationship.
Nikki Bella added, "What's crazy is this is the longest we haven't seen each other. We went six or seven weeks [apart] because I got [a judging gig on] America’s Got Talent: Extreme... Artem and I both discussed how [our son] Teo goes everywhere with mama. That's where he's comfortable, and that's where he does his best. And, you know, it's been hard on [Artem], and it's been hard on me too, not to have my man in my bed for over six or seven weeks. It's been hard on us, but we've had some sexy FaceTimes. And we're actually in a good spot. We were doing a little rocky for a bit. "
On joining America’s Got Talent as a guest judge, Nikki Bella said, "It is a dream come true, and this show is not going to be like anything that anyone has ever seen before. It’s just incredible, and the fact that I got to sit up there with Simon and Travis, and Terry Crews was the host, was incredible. They are all such amazing people. I am so blessed to be a part of it, and just this remarkable franchise. America's Got Talent is just so remarkable, but people are going to be mind-blown. "
The former professional wrestler added that they are stronger than ever now. After taking six months off, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella are now back with their podcast "The Bellas" via SiriusXM and Stitcher. About their return, Brie said, "Nikki and me, we just really wanted to take the summer off, kind of hit a refresh button, think about what else we wanted to do with the show, make it better and bigger. And so, it just seemed like the perfect time after summer to kind of collect ourselves, like going back to school, and the perfect time for the Bellas podcast".
Nikki Bella added, "And not only that, but now we're with SiriusXM and Stitcher, and that's big time. As a result, that's when you really have to hit that refresh. It's like, OK, now we're with the big dogs, so we need to start competing with Howard Stern. We just needed to regroup and really get our creative minds flowing, and now we're back, baby."
