Pamela Anderson defends her memoir.

Pamela Anderson's memoir "Love, Pamela" was released concurrently with her Netflix documentary "Pamela, a Love Story," and she is now defending the events depicted in the book.

In one of the excerpts mentioned in her memoir, Pamela Anderson wrote that her co-star from Home Improvement Tim Allen, flashed her once while they were filming, detailing that he opened his robe and flashed her and said to her that it was only fair if she saw him naked, as he had seen her naked, and that now they were even.

In her cover story for Variety, Pamela Anderson clarified that Tim Allen is a comedian and it’s his job to cross a line, adding that she is sure that he did not have any bad intentions at the time. Pamela said that times have changed and mentioned that she doubts that anyone would try that in the post-#MeToo era.

Tim Allen denied any incident occurred and recently told the Daily Mail that Pamela Anderson was a great coworker and a fun girl, and everybody loved her, but everyone at ABC is a little disappointed in her memoir, adding that everyone at Disney and ABC but stated that she is a good girl.

Pamela Anderson, in her interview with Entertainment Tonight, clarified that someone cannot just make that kind of stuff up. In her Vanity Fair interview, she said that this is the true story of many of the surreal and uncomfortable situations she has now learned to navigate through, and her memoir goes into how they made her feel throughout her life and, in this case, her career. She said that she has no ill will toward the actor, but like the rest, it should not have happened.

Director Ryan White also defended the documentary and memoir by stating that, of course, he believes Pamela because he thinks she’s always honest in everything, including about her shortcomings, but also other people's additions, adding that that was their conversation at the beginning of this process. Ryan said Pamela told him that she spent so much of her life protecting other people. And she is not trying to do that as much anymore. As for the Tim Allen and Sylvester Stallone anecdotes, Ryan White says Pamela Anderson isn’t trying to make a political statement. She just wants to recount her life in a manner that is honest and open. He described Pamela as very matter-of-fact in her storytelling, adding that she told them that this is what happened and Ryan mentioned that she's difficult to classify. She doesn't live in a simple world where one thing is right and this is wrong, or positive and negative. Pamela lives in the shadows and as a result, when she tells the story like that, they do not often come with the kind of judgments people would expect today, especially in the post-#MeToo era. So everything is very subtle and complex with the manner she looks at things, and he appears to believe that makes her more credible.

Pamela Anderson recently told the Wall Street Journal Magazine that her ex-husband Tommy Lee's now wife, Brittany Furlan, might not like her newly released memoir and that she is certain that Brittany Furlan will be annoyed by her memoir because it details their relationship. Pamela Anderson writes in her memoir that she barely knew anything about Tommy Lee at the time they met and eloped in 1995, but they were genuinely happy with each other.

In her memoir, Pamela Anderson also mentioned that after their honeymoon period faded away, they were faced with reality, and when their relationship was breaking down, it was the hardest, lowest, and most difficult point in her life, but she had to choose to protect her kids. Pamela also mentioned that maybe she was only ever truly in love with Tommy Lee.

When asked about the choice to release both the autobiography and the docudrama on the same day, Pamela Anderson claimed that it was "divine timing." She did explain that they hadn't planned on releasing these two items together. She was starting to write her book, in addition to her memoirs, and Brandon convinced her to do so; he can talk her into something, so they just decided to publish everything on the same day because it was already happening. The actress continued by stating that it all feels very strange, spiritually timed, and salutary. It's all very surreal.

Pamela, a love story, is now streaming on Netflix and 'Love, Pamela' is out now on stands.
