Pamela Anderson talks about her divorce from Tommy Lee.

Pamela Anderson’s memoir, "Love, Pamela," is all set to be released on January 31, 2023, along with her Netflix documentary, "Pamela: A Love Story," in which she candidly shared the things she went through, both good and bad.

Some of the extracts from the memoir have been published in publications that showcase the actress’ mindset at the time of her divorce from Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in 1998.

Pamela Anderson writes that divorce from Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee was probably the most difficult, lowest, and also most challenging point in her life. Brandon and Dylan are the kids of the former couple, who met in 1995 and married four days later. Pamela considers her relationship with Tommy to have been the only time she was truly in love with somebody. She stated that all they wished was to have children and be together forever.

Pamela added that she and Tommy Lee dealt with the unwelcome attention that followed the release of the tape in the best possible way they understood at the time, and some of it got crazy when describing how the infamous sex tape that was robbed from their garage and sold without their approval took a toll on their wedding, resulting in divorce. She noted that neither of them was sufficiently mature to deal with everything. Pamela went on to say that the sex tape spoiled people's lives, starting with their relationship and that it's unforgivable that people today believe they can profit from such a horrible experience, let alone a crime.

In the trailer for her documentary, the actress stated that she had clogged that stolen tape out of her life to survive, but now it is all returning and she is sick. Pamela cited Hulu's 'Pam and Tommy,' which is highly probable how her tape reemerged and said she wants to be in charge of the story for the first time. According to a person familiar with the actress, she has not watched the series and does not intend to watch it.

Tommy Lee was detained for spousal abuse in 1998 and sentenced to a six-month prison sentence according to the Baywatch actress. In her memoir, she writes that she continues to really can not genuinely think that the person she loved the most was capable of what occurred that night, going on to clarify that he repeatedly punched her in the back while she was holding 7-month-old Dylan and that they were both devastated, but she had to protect her children.

The actress stated that she believes they continued to fail their children and that it is challenging for her to surrender herself. Pamela stated that they ought to have found a way out, and she turned down any kind of violent maneuver. Pamela's childhood fears were arising, and she didn't wish that on the kids. And, despite the fact that she adored Tommy above all else, she adored her children even more.

Pamela Anderson, continued about Brandon, who is a very inventive and fiery young man. Dylan is more introspective and zen-like. It's a quality team, as her sons played a significant role in her documentary. Pamela said near the end that she will not need someone to bring her roses because she has sown a hundred rose bushes and can get them whenever she wants—and they're her favorite roses.
